The place was really cute just by the ocean. The service was outstanding and the waitress, Rachel, was very kind as well as very professionnal. Seefood was prepared with perfection and the sashimi quality was almost reaching the japanese standards. We warmly recommend this place.

O pescador was recommended by our host Catarina which has a lovely guest house close by. And we are soo glad she recommended this place. This place is NOT a tourist trap, itâs a simple traditional restaurant. We got served by Flávio, he was flying through all the tables(honestly donât know how he does it) but still made the time to talk to every one for a little bit, also very attentive to our needs. He explained the dishes very well! Our food came and it was glorious, full of flavour - we got the arroz de marisco. Best one we have tried so far in the country. We can not fault this restaurant one bit. Service was great and food was great! We will come back on our return to Portugal!

Whilst not used to eating a lot of seafood this place is a real experience. The staff were busy serving and cooking the fish and grumbling - but not in a bad way. The seafood was really fresh and reasonably priced. Get there early as by 7:00 pm guests absolutely 'packed in like sardines'!

The food was amazing. They had such a great variety of different fish displayed and you got to choose everything. But the best thing about this restaurant is by far the friendly staff. We got to try everything out before ordering and the recommendations we got from the waiter were simply spot on. This restaurant is a must if you ever find yourself in Montijo.

After being recommended by a local friend, we waited for more than an hour without having any explanation. If you are an outsider be careful as they treat locals and outsiders differently.

Concept of innovative tavern, where the gastronomy and traditional snacks of the city of Setúbal and the world are combined. Come taste our flavors on the most famous avenue of Sado land.
What a terrible service, we didnât even get to eat. Waited over 40 minutes with no hello no acknowledgement of us waiting, usually even if there is a waiting cue youâd get a hello & acknowledgement of you being there but nothing, there were 2 big tables that couldâve been separated to take 2 extra couples but nothing it was just wasted. Whilst waiting we observed the service to the tables were also slow. Can not attest to food but service wise not great.

Me and my partner and his parents have been here in the last weekend of September and the food from starters to deserts the food was amazing and full of flavour! The creme brulee with halzenut that I had was the best one I've ever had. Totally recommend. Advice to book table because can get really full and busy.
