We booked in for lunch for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere was so relaxed and lovely and the food was incredible, so good that we booked to go again next weekend. This has to be the best restaurant in Aberdeen, amazing local produce, relaxed atmosphere and fabulous service. Amazing.

My meal at the restaurant was disappointing. Several things on the menu were no longer available and the service was slow. My risotto was extremely salty and whilst full of plenty of nice sea food the rice was not quite right -stodgy rather than creamy. Overall I thought process were high for what you got.

Just a short walk from the main shopping district, our Aberdeen restaurant is a wee cracker. Actually, itâs a rather large cracker with capacity for up to 170 people. Two separate private dining rooms and a large courtyard create a relaxed and stylish atm
Went there without a reservation but was seated right away though they warned me the food would take about 20 min. I didn't mind that. The serving staff were great and the place has a posh feel to it. But the food was a bit of a let down. I got their catch of the day special. The fish was cooked perfectly but had no flavor to it, and the mash potatoes were a bit too salty.I was disappointed. Wouldn't go there again.thank you for your feedback!

Having been a long term customer and often taking overseas clients to dine at the restaurant, I knew the quality of food normally served. Therefore I was really disappointed when we took our friends, who were visiting from the States to dine here. The overall meal was dreadful with 3 people opting for the fish and chips. 2 of the breaded fish dishes should never have reached our table as they were overcooked and burnt. The other fish was dry inside an inconsistent batter, also overcooked but not burnt.I had the prawns and my dish was perfectly cooked. When I mentioned the condition of the fish to the waitress, we got a shrug and a 'sorry to hear that'. End of story. We decided to skip dessert and coffees and asked for the bill. I asked if the chef had been told about our comments and was told 'yes'. No further elaboration from the waitress. No further apology from the chef who must have seen the burnt left overs on two plates when they went back. Or, did the waitress bother to give my feedback to the chef on duty that evening.Very poor show and overall poor experience. Will post the photos later...
