It was almost only one open restaurant in the town. We choose it, because it was close to the hotel and weather was not so good. Food was tasty and fresh, portions were really big to fill your stomach with Italian specialities. We have been there several times and every time was perfect. Mayby one thing to improve - would be nice to have at leas one English speaking waiter

A run of the mill decor in a sllepy town ust outside of Milan's outer fringes.Inside, we found fresh and clean dishes of Neapolitan inspiration and good service. We had Paccheri with porcini and grilled swordfish. A bottle of Vermentino set us back â¬20, a bit on the pricey side.Coffee and mirto were complimentary, though the first would heve been better off purchased elsewhere, as is often the case in restaurants. The owner is a pleasant and courteous lady, second generation Neapolitan transplant into Lombardy.

Ristorante di Cucina Tipica Italiana con Carne alla Griglia su Brace di Legna. Cene Romantiche. Luogo tranquillo e accogliente
I really loved this little restaurant unsuspectably located by the county road. Quaint, cosy, with bright warm porch and veranda and some sort of Provence style, was a strike of good luck. I ended up there by chance due to proxiity with a local clinic on a special day like this so I quite willingly welcomed a fixed and opulent menu that is not quite like me. However, despite a full house and a challenging 8 course menu they did quite well. Impeccable service, perfect rythm, friendly approach, every dish well prepared, accurate, well laid out and never banal. Special thanks to the staff that bravely welcomed my Great Dane of 80 kilos with a smile and sat us at the table by the kitchen door. As usual this show stopper conveniently sprawled on his mat drew the attention of all the kids but waitresses patiently mantained order and dodge them while serving. These days a true pet friendly restaurant is definitely a plus. Thanks and Merry Christmas !

Fairly smart settings right next to the ancient castle, in the park. We had three very good main courses: a well-fried veal cutlet, a dish of ravioli fresh pasta stuffed with bitto cheese, and a milanese ossobuco (braised veal shank slice with bone and marrow) with risotto. The first less positive finding was a dish of fried fish and vegetables in batter, greasy. The second surprise was bottled water. 2.5 Euros for a .75 liter bottle are a common if annoying practice at restaurants around here. What I found annoying is that smaller bottles are less expensive than larger ones, suggesting shabby, careless pricing.

Tried once, as soon as it is hard to find out a real Neapolitan pizza. Actually, it is, as long as it comes with its high crust... However, I find out some issues which drove me to lower my score. In particular, I do not appreciate the tomato sauce, a bit sour for my palate (less on top, please). Dough is good, well cooked, not salty, crunchy enough; mozzarella on its standards. The other toppers seemed of a good quality. Desserts are very regional, but not astonishing. Finally, the place's atmosphere is not very cozy, sometimes raffish... and the oven is not on sight (quite peculiar to be a pizzeria)!

Trattoria: "An informal restaurant or tavern serving simple Italian dishes". Almost true, as soon as actually they serve dishes simple enough, although some pretend to be chic or sophisticated. Supposedly, prices should have to be "informal" too, however, if you pick from the list (or something different from the daily menu), the informality ends up in a bit... At last, results are not bad, but, in my opinion, fail to light up a spark and call you for another ride. So, the overall score cannot be higher than average, letting apart the service, which was far below than that (maybe, we were just unlucky).

Located a little outside of Cuggiono next to a river that runs all the way to Milano. Had lunch with my 2 cousins from Cuggiono and my wife and we all liked what we had for lunch. Service was good. They have an outside patio which would be great to have a lunch watching the river flow by with wine. Thanks you for your kind appreciation. It's a pleasure and a great satisfaction to see the smile at the end of lunch. Bye
