We arrived from glencoe and headed for something to eat. We dropped into this restaurant just before all the tour buses arrived.Very lucky. Service was friendly. Our meals came relatively quickly as the room filled up. Paid our bill upfront. Get there early before the lunch rush.Food was decent but not cullinary.

Bright, informal, bubbly, relaxed bistro Cafe in the heart of Portree. Daily changing food menu. Extensive vegetarian & meaty choices. The best coffee in town. Open daily from 7am-6pm. Scrumptious meals and home-baked cakes. WE CATER FOR ALL! FOLLOW THE S
We've had lunch here twice this week. The cafe is dog friendly and the staff are so kind and welcoming. There's a good choice dishes including plenty of vegetarian food. Coffee is good. The spicy chips are very spicy bit also tasty! We had the courgette tiam today which was very good.

This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere but very busy. We enjoyed our meals here. The seafood was really fresh and it did not disappoint. It is not culinary but it was worth the visit. Portree restaurants are very busy so reservations are recommended. We saw many people turned away.

We did not have a booking for the restaurant but took a chance and managed to secure a table for two in the small cosy restaurant. The waitress was very efficient and friendly considering she was the only one there and managed to get drinks from the bar also with no trouble. We ordered the mackerel pate and chowder to start followed by the smoked haddock/ black pudding risotto and seafood linguine. Meals were delicious and struggled to finish. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Would recommend this restaurant as a must when visiting Portree. Will get back there again hopefully.

A relaxing and comfortable dining experience awaits you in this restaurant located within The Rosedale Hotel. The restaurant serves Scottish Tapas freshly prepared by Daniel Fleming and his small kitchen team. Booking in advance is recommended to avoid di
Because of its tapas (not latino - just Scottish!) approach, this restaurant allowed us to try many different dishes, all of which were uniquely seasoned and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, affording views of the water. Service was fine and the price was reasonable. Definitely worth a visit... and reservation.

Charming restaurant situated in converted traditional house with views over Portree Harbour. We sell good quality home cooked contemporary food including including steaks and seafood.
Me and several friends visited No 1 for a Christmas meal recently and it was superb. The food was excellent with the most amazing slow roasted pork belly I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly and easy-going without being formal which was pleasant. I was a actually pleasantly surprised at the place and would definitely go back.

This is a seafood restaurant but with great vegetarian and vegan options. The veg options are tasty, imaginative and nutritionally balanced, which as any vegetarian will know, is a rare thing. The service is friendly and efficient, the location is great, right on the harbourside. It is excellent value for money, but make sure you book in advance.

Scorrybreac restaurant is set in a beautiful location and is the perfect spot to enjoy wonderful Scottish cuisine served with a French twist. Our aim is to source the best produce that Skye has to offer. We will be serving dinner 6 days a week from Tuesda
Venue - the restaurant is tiny, only 18 seats. They seem to do at least 2 sittings per table - which I imagine you have to in order to make a profit with such a small place. As such if you arrive early you will be left in the small vestibule until your table is ready as there is simply not room inside to wait.Menu - it is a set menu, 3 courses with 3 choices for each. Given the small number of tables this is logical. If you are fussy about things it might be best to go elsewhere. There is a sample menu on the website to give you an idea what may be served.Food - we though the food was excellent, great flavours and well cooked and presented. There have been comments about the portion size - I thought the were fine for a 3 course meal.Service - Good if a bit automatic. When we ate there were two other couples who arrived about the same time and we were all next to each other - so we heard the same word perfect statements on presentation and removal of each course 3 times. The food came at a reasonable pace - we did not feel rushed.Cost - it is not cheap, 48 pounds each plus drinks. However I didnât think it was unreasonable for the quality.Parking - Some one mentioned the lack of parking - it is a tiny restaurant in the middle of a small village so you cannot expect parking by the door. There is free public parking 5 to 10 minutes walk away, or a taxi from any of the local B&Bs should be less than 5 pounds.
