Contemporary Restaurant specialising in the finest Scottish ingredients prepared and cooked with an Italian influence. Twenty One is a family owned & operated restaurant, passionate about utilising the best locally sourced Scottish produce, prepared and s
First of all the restaurant is very modern and set out well, no complaints but the food was average. A starter of scallops was very well presented but slightly undercooked and a bit bland. Main course of fillet steak is expensive at £28 and you have to pay extra for a sauce which is ridiculous, I asked for medium and it's was rarer than that and not properly rested as blood ran onto plate when cut, the chips also underdone. With some improvements to the food this could be a good restaurant, it's also pricy for what it is.

Just lovely well-cooked good value modern Scottish food in an unexpected setting
The food is decent and the drinks selection also good. Steak was slightly over cooked but nice. Some small issues regarding the staff and that in that there was a severe lacking of them. Toilets need cleaned. Food good, pricing very good and would probably go back.

Looking for somewhere to eat while staying in the area, reviews were good so rang to book. Friday night so very busy and a bit noisy. Staff were very friendly. Some nice choices on the menu. Everything tasty and cooked to perfection. The portions are large. Very reasonably priced. Only a small car park. The decor inside is lovely, I might have been put off by the outside if I had just turned up, needs a coat of paint. Otherwise fantastic

the Cherry tree is now under new management. We opened in December 2016 following a massive refurbishment. We serve meals 7 days a week and have live entertainment on every Saturday night
New chef is excellent, I had lunch with my mum and sister and both of them cleared their plates which is very unusual, I requested half a portion for my mum as she hasnât been eating lately and I was so pleased that she ate every morsel. I then had home made soup with my husband and it was delicious, I especially loved the really nice bread it was served with instead of those really hard rolls. Looking forward to going back, especially look forward to the new menu Thankyou so much for your wonderful review. Look forward to seeing you again

Turned up here as we were passing by on the way back to Cumbria. It was a very cold day and we were the only customers. We were greeted with a warm smile and seated by the radiator. We ordered burgers, mince and tatties and minute steak. The steak was more like a rump and the pepper sauce it came with was lovely. All served piping hot which is just what we were after. Great little place.

Went with friends on Saturday night to find that there was a party being held in the Restaurant and thought this could be very noisy. This was not the case as they were the best behaved party goers i have met.Food was well presented and all courses that the 4 of us had were delicious especially the sea bass and the ginger sauce with the chicken dish was fantastic( I nearly had the cheek to ask for more)All in all a great night was had and the service was very friendly and professional.Be back soon!!!Thank you very much for your lovely comment hopefully see you soon.Catherine

Food was fine, my son loved his choice, service was half hearted, but it was the menu we thought it was on a deal however you have to look really close to find out it is just a few options on the meal deal, maybe help if the person serving you could point this out as Iâm sure Iâm not the only person made thus mistake! Not sure if we will return âºï¸

My wife and I stayed at The Radstone Hotel recently. We had booked a room as part of a package which included cabaret with The Jerseytones and dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was amazing! Huge king size bed and a separate sitting area with a massive tv. There was another tv back to back with it that serviced the bedroom. The bathroom had a big walk in shower and a deep bath that would be very difficult for someone like me with walking difficulties, to get into. It really is quite high! Probably the only thing we could find fault with the room was mildew around the base of the shower. Surely housekeeping should be attending to this? The dinner served was very good. We each had 3 courses as part of the package and hats off to the kitchen and serving staff. I believe they were catering for 280 that night and everything came in good time and anyone we spoke to was very happy with the meal. I must mention the price of drink in the Hotel. It cost £6.20 for a vodka and small bottle of coke, not exactly the cheapest! The breakfast the next morning was again of a high standard. Service was very good under the watchful eye of Lorraine, the restaurant manageress. She goes about her business very professionally and interacts well with her staff and the paying customer. We are RAD card holders and visit all their Hotels and restaurants regularly. Havenât been to the latest purchase Dalmeny Park but itâs on our bucket list. Definitely be visiting The Radstone Hotel again in the future. One wee bit of concern is refurbishment. This Hotel is similar to others in the chain and needs a lick of paint here and there and some wallpapering. The RAD Group has developed into a fair size, but one or two of the Hotels and Restaurants are needing upgrading as they are starting to show their age.Dear FranmazThank you for your very kind feedback regarding your stay, I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay. All of your feedback regarding your stay has been taken on board and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.Kind RegardsChris OwenOperations Manager

Dropped in here for lunch, lovely clean place, well laid out.Friendly welcome and seated at one of the tables with lovely linen table clothes and napkins.Varied menu of full meals, snacks, sandwiches etc. Also a take out menu.My steak pie, roast potatoes and peas was great and my wife said her Mac and cheese was excellent. The staff are attentive and friendly, in this restaurant which is part of a training programme for people with special learning needs.Don't let this stop you visiting they are very good at their job, both in front of house and behind the scenes. The food is great and good value for money. Well worth a visit. We will be back.

Decided to go for lunch at Applebank Inn and we were not disappointed.Fabulous customer service, prompt afriendly attention without intrusion.varied menu quite extensive, finally both settled on soup of day and chicken fajitas which can only be described as an explosion of flavours. Meal was served piping hot and big serving well presented.Reasonable priced lunch and we do hope to visit again soon with friends and try out some cocktails. We had a look at drinks menu which again prices were very good for cocktails(huge list of same). All in all good decision today to visit Applebank in all its spooky glory with Halloween decks adorning the premises to add to the atmosphere of pub. busy place with constant flow of people which speaks for itself.honestly couldnât fault
