I pre-booked a table for four as I've been to the Monturpie before and I know it gets pretty busy.On our arrival we were taken to our table and handed the menu.Superb views across the Forth. Our drinks order was taken and within seconds we received our drinks. We placed our order and within 10 minutes we received our lunch.Poached Salmon with sweet chili sauce, Quiche and the Omelette. Every meal made to perfection. Hot, tasty and well presented on the plate. We ordered rhubarb with ice-cream and meringue for dessert.Followed by cappuccino and latte (shortbread was served as well)The staff is friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. The restaurant and toilets are spotless clean.Highly recommended and always a winner to go too.

With its low, beamed ceilings, wonderful stone walls, dark wood furnishings, interesting nooks and crannies and perfect ambient lighting, the Dreel Tavern is the epitome of cosy comfort, and is a fascinating ancient building. This is a really lovely pub and although they clearly major in dining, casual drinkers are made to feel most welcome. Service is slick, efficient and welcoming and our beers were very good. This is most definitely not what Iâd call a traditional Scottish pub, but certainly as far as sheer style and cosy ambience is concerned, this is probably the nicest pub in Anstruther.

Small unique Scottish Restaurant tucked away just off the main street in Anstruther. A historic little restaurant in the heart of the East Neuk. Was once used as a store by fishermen for there fishing nets. And also used as a smokehouse and cooperage. It
Our return visit to the Cellar was every bit as special as our last visit. Such a talented chef! His dinner tasting menu was absolutely perfect and totally delicious. Every course was a perfect balance in taste and texture. Gorgeous presentation and served by the two delightful girls who were so attentive and observant Perfect pace between courses. We enjoyed everything and look forward to another visit. Highly recommend!
The Mirador Cafe and Takeaway at Elie Holiday Park serves some of the very best barista coffee in the East Neuk of Fife together with tasty pastries, home baking and top notch takeaway favourites. There are hot breakfast choices too and a light bites menu
I liked the fittings, furniture and food! Mirador offer a take-away breakfast for a fiver, which looked like very good value, but I'd already had mine!Excellent coffee and a pleasant young waitress. This, and the more up-market (next door)restaurant do the popular caravan park proud. It's a winding road down to it, but very welcoming!

The Dory Bistro & Gallery serves great, yet affordable, food with a lot of the local Fife and Perthshire food treasures on the menu. Lobsters, langoustines, and other shellfish landed less than 40 metres from our front door in the harbour, fish from St Mo

We spent a wonderful evening enjoying the great atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food at Craig Millar @ 16 West End. How there are no michelin stars here is astonishing - one of the best we've had, and weve enjoyed The Kitchin, the Peat Inn, Martin Wisharts and other unrecognised but excellent restaurants. Craig Millar's is very, very good. Go there!

The Ship Inn at Elie in Fife has long been one of Scotland's most iconic pubs, famous for its great views, stunning location, and even as the only pub in the world to have a cricket team with a pitch on the beach. The owners, Graham and Rachel Bucknall, w
Had yet another good night here, in the restaurant for a change so completely sober. Rosie was on duty and navigated complex requests with aplomb and a smile. Must be a management thing; they all looked relaxed while performing.Thank you for your review - I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed your evening with us and I will be sure to pass on your comments to Rosie. We hope to see you again in the future!
