We visited Legends on Saturday night for our first attempt at the pre theatre menu. We had heard from friends that it was unbelievable value for money. Our starters were lovely and we paid a small supplement for the steak for our main course. It too could not be faulted and was cooked to perfection. Although we werent able for a sweet there was plenty of choice for those with a large appetite! In our opinion to get such quality food and on a Saturday night was well worth the visit. We shall be back very very soon thats for sure.

My husband and I had a voucher for this place and we booked a table for 6pm. We had a couple of drinks in the bar area where they just put them against our voucher which was good. We then went to the restaurant for our meal. It went downhill from there at a rapid rate of knots!!!! We were put in the conservatory area which is lovely but we were the only only ones there, it was very lonely, we could just have sat at our dining table in the house. We both ordered fillet steaks, cooked medium, well we did have a £100 voucher to spend. My steak was ok but my husbands looked more like a sirloin and was cooked well done. We told them it wasnât what we ordered and they said we would get a free dessert or coffee on the house as a way of apology. The fillet was £28 so I donât think a coffee OR dessert is a good compensation!!!! The team leader then came and spoke to us and told us they would take the price of one fillet steak off the bill. This was meant to be a nice night out for my husband and I (child free) and it wasnât. We left with £40 left on our voucher, we were planning on spending the whole lot, not anymore. Like I said very disappointing Hello C-A-JD2016,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Feedback is always greatly important in order for us to continuously improve our guest's journey. I visit this place most weekends. Itâs genuinely the best breakfast in East Kilbride. Itâs very busy but 9 times out of 10 we get a table. The staff are fantastic, itâs a traditional cafe, which is nice and rare it seems these days. The cakes are also amazing! Highly recommend

Popped in on a busy Saturday morning for some brekkie. The food was excellent, the vegetarian breakfast was one of the best Iâve had in a long time - lovely poached eggs, veggie sausages and mushroom bonbons. A nice twist on traditional fayre that is served elsewhere. Service was very good and although we had to wait a wee bit for our food it was worth it as it was freshly made and tasty. Looking forward to returning and trying the lunch/dinner menu.Highly recommended.

We have visited here on a couple of occasions because the food (particularly the breakfasts) have been lovely but every time we have been we leave saying the same thing âthey need staff trainingâ We are just told âthatâs your seat thereâ no showing you to your table and being introduced to the waitress and given the menus and drinks order taken... no, you head to your table, wait about 10minutes for someone to bring the menus, then someone else comes and takes your drink order 10 minutes after that. Then someone else brings it, then again your waiting another 10 minutes and someone finally comes and takes your order. Its just not flowing enough. Weâve often found ourselves looking around trying to catch the eye of someone to come to our table as it seems they have forgotten about you. Sometimes even people that have came in after us have had their food order taken before us. Itâs a bit of a shambles really. Also the few times we have been there we waited so long for our bill that we ended up paying it at the counter which means we havenât even saw our food receipt.A lovely wee place but please concentrate on service. Also a smile from the waitresses wouldnât go amiss.

7 of us who meet regularly for lunch, this restaurant was suggested as a good Location. It turned out to be great. Staff were charming and decor is outstanding. Toilet is nice and tidy. Menu is varied with excellent deals. I had the salt and chicken with hoisin sauce which was sensational. Next I had the sea bass which was probably one of the best sea bases I have ever had. Family and friends said it was 5 star food and experience as well. Overall, I extremely recommend this place and definitely will be going again.
