IV10 is an independent, family run café, bar and deli in Fortrose on the beautiful Black Isle. 'Be it brunch, lunch or dinner or just a drink with friends IV10, a place to be enjoyed at any time of the day'
My wife and I ate dinner at this lively restaurant when on short break to the Black Isle. The menu was interesting and the food was excellent. Great wine list too. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and their was a lively and friendly vibe. Liked the interior design of the restaurant too. No hesitation in recommending.

Bright friendly cafe in Fortrose to suit all age groups. We have a fully kitted out disabled toilet. The cafe is wheelchair friendly. For the kiddywinkles we have a selection of toys to keep them amused, leaving mums and dads peace to enjoy the fabulous f
The fact that the cafe was very busy was an excellent sign and this was reflected intuit the service was really good. We also enjoyed the lunch and the cakes were as good as we have had anywhere.

Popped in here on a Saturday evening while on holiday. We arrived at 6pm and were the only diners however the place soon filled up. My partner had the duck which he felt was a little overdone but good all the same. I later heard another customer being asked by a different staff member how he would like his duck done, we were not asked. My haddock was good though rather large a portion for me personally. Dessert delicious. Will be back.

First visit and had heard mixed reviews but will definitely return. Food delicious and cake afterwards a real treat. All staff very friendly and helpful and appeared to be plenty of waiting staff. Views are stunning. Will definitely return and bring grandchild for the outdoor play area.

A unique, atmospheric, cosy, vibrant restaurant & inn. All of our food is completely home-cooked with passion to the highest quality, with fresh and local ingredients - including herbs from our very own garden! Our evening menu changes fortnightly and off
The is a slightly more expensive establishment...... but I always believe you get what you pay for! Potions might also be on the medium size, but what you get is on the very fine cuisine side..... absolutely delicious! 2 friends recommended this eatery and said it was excellent, try it out for yourself you wonât be disappointed. Cheers Kev

Traditional Highland Hospitality ... in the heart of the local community since 2004. Chefs specials ... Breakfast & Bistro menus ... Quality ground coffee & specialist teas ... Home baked cakes & country style soups ... Locally reared Haggis, neeps & tatt
The Crazy Horse is quite nicely done, and although it calls itself a Coffee Shop it is a fully-fledged traditional cafe with a decent menu of meals and snacks. We had tea, coffee and scones, which were all very good, but be aware that the scones are huge!Service was friendly and the prices most reasonable. One suggestion however:While we were there, many of the local school kids were coming in to collect takeaway food for lunch, and if we work on the assumption that if they havenât learned to close doors by now - they never will, it would surely be a good idea to have a self-closing spring fitted, especially with winter coming!

Check in was easy and room was a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom also a good size with walk in shower. Hairdryer and toiletries were supplied and we had a nice view of the Firth. We opted to have dinner in the restaurant and although food took a little while to appear it was delicious. Prices were also very reasonable. Breakfast options were somewhat limited but fine nonetheless. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and restaurant.

A scottish-french enterprise serving simple but tasty food in a pleasant location between Invergordon and Alness.
The Tomich Cafe is a great stopping off point for a breakfast or lunch, whether you are heading North or South on the A9.A good range of dining options, prices reasonable and the cafe is nicely laid out. We opted for breakfasts. Service was quick and friendly and we both enjoyed our meals.Recommended.

Non-residents are always welcome. Food served every day from 12:00 - 9:00 pm in our Turret Bar or for a more formal, fine dining experience in The Alexander Restaurant.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal again at Kincraig Castle Hotel to celebrate her birthday. Great food. Efficient, friendly welcoming staff. Never disappointed.
