Just a short walk from the main shopping district, our Aberdeen restaurant is a wee cracker. Actually, itâs a rather large cracker with capacity for up to 170 people. Two separate private dining rooms and a large courtyard create a relaxed and stylish atm
Went there without a reservation but was seated right away though they warned me the food would take about 20 min. I didn't mind that. The serving staff were great and the place has a posh feel to it. But the food was a bit of a let down. I got their catch of the day special. The fish was cooked perfectly but had no flavor to it, and the mash potatoes were a bit too salty.I was disappointed. Wouldn't go there again.thank you for your feedback!

My meal at the restaurant was disappointing. Several things on the menu were no longer available and the service was slow. My risotto was extremely salty and whilst full of plenty of nice sea food the rice was not quite right -stodgy rather than creamy. Overall I thought process were high for what you got.

Trendy, upscale, good menu options and good wine list. Had to flag down the server for anything we needed. Average food at high prices. Would not choose to return.

The Sand Dollar Cafe is a seafront restaurant serving breakfast, lunches and afternoon light meals offering daily specials in a friendly atmosphere, we have outside seating, do special Bistro evening events like Jazz Nights and always welcome children.
Very good and blows away its competitors along the promenade. Sadly itâs very busy at peak times. Which is a good sign. Good no nonsense food. Great staff.

We booked in for lunch for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere was so relaxed and lovely and the food was incredible, so good that we booked to go again next weekend. This has to be the best restaurant in Aberdeen, amazing local produce, relaxed atmosphere and fabulous service. Amazing.

A warm Scottish failte to 'Angus & Ale', Aberdeen. Our beef is dry aged on the bone for a minimum of 28 days which guarantees melt-in-the-mouth, juicy burgers. 100% Angus beef. No bull!
Had high hopes for this place, read the reviews and thought it sounded fab, the service was good and I liked the atmosphere, nice music and decor, I had Cullen skink for starter which was delicious and my boyfriend had the pate which he enjoyed but said the amount of bread you get compared to the slab of pate was ridiculous. Mains were two burgers, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was almost too big to comfortably eat and honestly I wasnât impressed, it was crunchy to the point of breaking your teeth and had that burnt floury taste. I had also asked for no chipotle mayo but got it anyway and there was a massive pickle on top of the bun which is not mentioned on the menu, this is a huge pet hate of mines. The taste of pickle on the bun was off-putting. The beef burger was TINY compared to the bun but massively thick which meant that it was quite pink in the middle which my partner does not like. Perhaps flattening the burgers a little would make for a more enjoyable and presentable meal? Also the chips were naff. Overall not worth the £50 it cost us. I hate to leave a negative review of a local business, but I feel like this place has the potential to be something amazing and letâs itself down on the little things.

Bountiful, delicious breakfast. Beautiful, classy dining room with white tablecloths - yes I still appreciate linens. I enjoyed the best lamb chops of my trip and there were 4 of them, cooked to perfection (pink throughout). My husband enjoyed the lobster thermador, also too generous with both halves of the lobster. Good wine selection. Expensive, but certainly worth every bite.

Stopped in at 2.55 on a Friday afternoon, wasnât sure if still serving lunch. Owner/manager was really friendly, had promised his chef a break but checked and chef was happy to stay back. Delicious home made soup, sandwiches were packed full of tasty fillings, served with side salad, dressing and vegetable crisps. Super fast service, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We were enroute to cinema so the quick turnaround was exactly what we were after. Fantastic value and looking forward to going back!

Sports Bar, Casual Dining Restaurant and upstairs function suite for up to 120 covers. American,Italian freshly made to order food with a Scottish twist.
First visit here last night after a friendâs recommendation and it didnât fail to impress! Lovely homely atmosphere with a fab waitress who was rushed off her feet but very good at her job. We had the spicy chicken wings, chilli bowl, ribs and a kids chicken strips. Portion sizes are very generous, the chilli was to die for, best I have ever tasted (proper American style). Home made tortillas and cornbread finished it off perfectly. The chicken strips were good according to our fussy 10 year old who finished the lot followed by the caramel apple tart (which I was hoping he wouldnât finish but he did!). Ribs looked amazing and were really good too. Decent price - £56 for the food plus 6 soft drinks. Will definitely be back!
