Gastropub with amazing choice of beer wine and food. Mediterranean style restaurant with focus on local products. We love food and human. We are idealistic and do our jobb with passion. If u are a wanna be, this is not place for u, but if u are searching
I have been at this restaurant several times and I truly recommend it to everyone. The attention of the service members are amazing, they take your order fast and bring your reasonably priced delicious food quickly. Very hospitable environment. The menu offers a variety of dishes from meat based dishes, to various kinds of pizza and the soup of the day. If you are there for chill and relax, sit at the Gastropub department of Ladejarlen and taste local beers!

This is a good restaurant. The service staff are friendly. The ambience is nice and comfortable. The food and wine selection are good. Though some of my colleagues find the size of the entreé a bit small for an a la carte dish. Maybe that is their way of saying it's tasty, i want some more. Recommended...

My husband and I wanted a dinner that was not heavy and was local. Well we hit the jackpot! We actually shared everything we ordered. We first had fish soup, then a special kind of cod that was cooked perfectly with brown butter and herbs, tender beets, potato mash with smoked cod, and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was some of the best food I have eaten. Then homemade chocolate cake with caramel, coffee ice cream. It was a meal to remember. The restaurant was cozy and we were not rushed. Plus they played each our own shared portion. Just lovely.

We have the nicest backyard in Trondheim, with the most unique atmosphere! And you MUST try our tasty fish soup!
Before we left for Norway, I searched the internet for special places to enjoy meals in many of the cities where our two week cruise would be stopping. Our group of six unanimously agreed that this incredibly wonderful, small restaurant in an 18th century inn provided of our best meals of the entire trip! My wife and I enjoyed fantastic soups, hers gluten free! Other members of our group enjoyed the extensive buffet of Norwegian dishes! We highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!

Grillhouse restaurant and bar by the river of Trondheim. Enjoy a meal in Trondheim's oldest warehouse.
We were pleasantly surprised by how much we like the food. I had never tried this place because the name, AiSuma, sounded Japanese so I thought it would be a sushi restaurant. Excellent grilled meats, very good quality. We especially enjoyed the dessert afterwards. Our kids wouldn´t let us leave until we tried all of them and they scraped all the plates. The portions were very big and even our teenagers were satisfied. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the service was excellent. Very good value!Thank you for the nice review. Ai Suma is Piemontese dialect meaning âwe have done itâ ;-) Welcome back!

This was indeed a great experience. We were there to celebrate doctoral dissertation (which went well!). Food was presented expertly, and everything tasted fantastic. Extra kudos to the staff who provided, and paired, alcohol-free alternatives to wine, with the dishes.

Troll will serve you Norwegian cuisine in a rebellious way and is located on Fosenkaia, a central pier in Trondheim. Although first and foremost a place for finer dining, our restaurant also holds a small stage and a fantastic outdoors patio. We are creat
We booked ahead for our first night in Trondheim. The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly and with a friendly welcome and a menu in English. The three course and five course menus were described. We chose the 3 course menu - excellent thin slices of roast reindeer (described as roast beef of moose), lovely piece of halibut, and almond wanna cotta with berries (NOK 398 pp).Wine and beer choices were plentiful. A glass of wine averages around £10. I chose a glass of good Riesling, which was very pleasant.Although service was quick, we were not rushed and it was a great start to our holiday.

I knew this to be one of the better restaurants in Trondheim, but we were still positively surprised - this is simply an excellent restaurant. The food and the wine pairings were all delicious, interesting and fresh. The personnel were professional and nice. Great and informal atmosphere. A new favorite.

Fagn is a restaurant located in the heart of Trondheim. Upstairs is a casual restaurant with a cocktail bar. Downstairs there is a gourmet restaurant with a 5 cours tasting menu ore a full experirnce with 20 courses.
Great tasts, excelent food, but not enough food to get full. Spent 2000 NOK per person, had to grab a burger for our 20-year old son on our way home. That was a bit dissapointing. If you buy 20 dishes you might be satisfied, if you buy 10 dishes, be aware that you might have to top it up for some people.Hi, Thank's for your feedback. It was sad to hear, we will take this into account. We greatly appreciate you visiting us.Would you like to receive a warm welcome on a later occasion. With best regards Jeanette Johansen
