Salmon, risotto.. a glass of white wine (Riesling) and water with lemon. Perfect choice for a warm rainy day. The company was perfect. Spotting a table closer to outdoor due to fact there was no AC worked well. Good atmosphere, afterwords a cup of coffee and a cookie (incl. in lunch).Would have appreciated a bit more of salad with it. Risotto was excellent. And salmon too, the skin fell perfectly and it was nice and juicy.
Naantalin Aurinkoinen sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla ja on suosittu kohtaus- ja levähdyspaikka. Sopii hyvin pikapalavereihin, sillä tila on siisti ja äänimaailma sopii keskusteluun. Pysäköinti maksutonta, muista parkkikiekko. Tuoretta hyvää tarjottavaa joka makuun.
Firstly: you need a car to come here. Secondly: crowded at lunch-time. Thirdly: defo not the romantic setting, rather very down to earth. But lovely service, brilliant lunch buffé, and as for the café: yes, there are all the tasty buns, cakes, pies, or why not a salad. If you happen to be in the area, which essentialy means shopping mall Mylly, this certainly beats the ever so boring chain cafés in the Mylly.

Lots of restaurants in Turku are closed on Sunday. After attending the English service at the Turku Cathedral at 16:00, we found that only Pubs and Cafes were open. We were pleasantly surprised by the very thin crust pizza at Niska! Whoever heard of smoked salmon on pizza? We found the combination of the salmon, pickled onions, and rucola (like Arugula) was fantastic! The atmosphere in this little pub was pleasant and the service was very good!

Viking Restaurant Harald. Located right in the heart of the city centre, Viking Restaurant Harald serves up the very finest the forest and waters have to offer - just like in the days of the ancient Northern adventurers. The menu has meat and fish in its
What a fantastic place. Viking themed with some great decoration.Service was brilliant, waitress made an effort to speak to my daughter which is always nice and in perfect English so she could respond.Food was excellent, wife had vegetarian option, daughter had chicken and viking shield potatoes and I had pork of the berserkers (pictured). All amazing and there was nothing left on the plates. Oh also try the beetroot bread starter it was warm and tasty. Not the cheapest of meals in an already expensive country but as a treat its well worth doing.

I chose this restaurant based on reviews and was very happy with the decision. The clients were local to Turku and had been before, itâs clearly recognised as special. The food and service was excellent, we went for the 5 course chefs choice. There were a couple of people with dietary requirements and they were both catered for.

Central location between marketplace and riverfront. Interior quite basic(except grand piano!) and really short menu. We took a 5 course tasting menu, which was "built" from that menu(Black Angus Picanha was our main). Service was really friendly and we had a nice dinner. They use lots of Finnish ingredients and especially cheeses and blueberry themed dessert were great. No "surprises"/amuse bouche's from kitchen, but still 55â¬/person was reasonable for all that.

We chose the menu âVitonenâ including three starters, one main course, and a dessert. Especially the first starter, their famous version of Finnish raw fish âKalarullaâ was excellent as well as the main course Beef fillet. Everything was very fresh and portions beautiful. The wine pairing was very good and the service professional. We really enjoyed our stay although the weather (and inside) was very hot. Thereâs also some noise of people talking a bit loud.

A while when visited last time in Mami. Canât understand why not often. This fantastic restaurant located near main cathedral as part of old Turku. Just few seats inside all year round, so pre-booking referred.Food never leave you âaloneâ and great wine selection served on the top of food. Great place to enjoy.

This restaurant from 1967 is the oldest cellar restaurant in Turku. After the musical, we had dinner here. The food was delicious. It was a pity that the house wine was awful, both white and red.The service was friendly and efficient.Thank you for your nice comments. We feel sorry that your perception about our very high quality House Wines were awful. Both wines are hand picked from small producers and are nothing but bulk wine from Bordeaux, France and Sienna region Chianti, Italy.Hope to see you again in Brahen Kellari!Per Brahe
