Besökte Lunedet och åt räkbuffe som var prisvärd . Sallader, pajer , röror , ost , bröd och räkor för 189 kr / person .Riklig buffé som var fint upplagt . Tyvärr kändes räkorna inte superfärska . Dukningen vid borden kunde göras lite trevligare med blomma el dyl på bordet och en glasskål att slänga skalen i istället för gamla plasthinkar som det varit räkor i . Enhetlig snygg dukning skulle göra mycket på detta trevliga ställe ! Trevlig personal ! I cafet intill har de mycket gott att välja på både mat i fika . Vi provade bubbelvåfflan . Måste provas!

Restaurangen ligger i gamla Terrassens lokaler en trappa upp (hiss finns) i Folkets hus. Själva lokalen är väl inte något särskild men har fin utsikt ut mot sjön Möckeln.Toaletten var välstädad men ganska trång.Jag åt Grekisk pytt med vitlökssås. Pytten var god med rikligt med mycket mört kött.Till lunch kan man välja mellan två rätter, veckans soppa och en pasta.

Local restauranteur Sandra Sanebo has just opened the Gastro Bar and Kok in the Main Square in September 2011. We tried it and can confirm it is really good high quality gastro food - I assume a website will follow. Sandra already has the Golf Restaurant

Had the Swedish traditional Christmas Dinner - Julbord - which was excellent. Although good job I had a Swedish colleague with me to explain all the dishes.

This is a great place in Karlskoga in the middle of the city at the market, place to meet friends and have a good yarn or just to enjoy a coffee and cake for yourself. They also serve breakfast and lunch. You can sit inside if the weather is bad. Or you can sit just outside the coffee shop. Or you can sit outside on the other side of the pedestrian walkway with large umbrellas protecting you from the sun. Was there the other day with my wife for the first time and had a delicious mud cake with cream and chocolate sauce. Nice and friendly staff that also speaks English.

We spent lunch time in the first floor of the restaurant. Thats the room where they serve the food and tables are prepared for special occasions, or upper class lunch. Just 2 menues on the list, but perfectly cooked. Both, entree and maincourse were high and fresh quality. Waitress was present and did a good job as well. The Restaurant itself is located in the old, but in very good shape Hotel. When in Karlskoga, try the Bofors Hotel.

We had dinner one evening at this restaurant. Very cozy building by the lake. Friendly staff, good food and wine!Prices are reasonable!Recommended!
