Reviews on Scandinavian food in Bastad, Skane County, Sweden. Båstad is a locality and the seat of Båstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden, with approximately 5,000 permanent residents. It is however one of Sweden's most typical summer resorts. The population is presumably more than twice as large between April and September, and even larger during July. It's municipality follows a similar pattern. Some 15,000 permanent residents but more than 30,000 during July. Some villages within the municipality almost empty during the winter, but have more than a 2,000 "summer guests" during July. Torekov is a good example of this.

Close to the old train station this âpensionatâ offers breakfast, lunch and dinner most days of the week. The lunch buffet was typical Swedish with some international dishes (e.g. wok style noodles).
The oldest and the most hestorical and harmony place in Bastad , best coffe and cakes sortiments, conference and meeting place , huge terrace , ice cream , sandwiches and cold drinks .... all those in just one place , welcome to Cafe Continental
I was very pleasantly surprised to find this coffeeshop open around 7am, in a weekend day! And even more impressed when they brought me a warm bun, just out of the oven, with butter - for breakfast, after I ordered a sandwich! The place is great, cosy, spacious and well organized! The terrace outside is huge, so one can enjoy a glance over the busy street, while having the morning coffee...
We went here for lunch on a Sunday in October. The location is fantastic and the food and service was brilliant. Since located in the Norrvikens Trädgård there is a short walk from the parking lot to be considered.
Free range cattle from Bjäre peninsula and locally sourced produce with a Mediterranean twist. Seaside view. Tables for larger companies, bar and boule court in our courtyard Sjokos Baksida. Lunch from 12, dinner from 17 - late.
Love Sjöko, just wish so many things were not missing on the menu.Båstad really needs places like Sjöko! One of very few good eateries.Good and friendly service. Nice location.Menu caters for most, however very few green options. The grilled artichoke was very minimalistic, and you are still hungry when plate is empty.Great mussels! When we visited there were no olives, no rose wine, no other meat option but the burger and no trout. A bit disappointing.Still, Sjöko could be a gem if the menu was in order.

Welcome to the new restaurant Hamnplats 3 on the quay in Bastad. A meeting place for planned and spontaneous moments of enjoyment of life and taste delight. In the best location we serve well composed dishes on our sober outdoor seating right on the sea o
Looked like a nice restaurant clean nicely decorated and in a lovely position on the quayside, but the food was overpriced not particularly exciting and though the waiting staff were very nice we encountered long waits between courses. Didn't live up to expectations. Hi carol,I'm sorry that we didn't live up to your expectations. I will personally look in to this.I hope that we will se you again and can live up to your expactations.Best regards /Robbin Almén

It is a nice place where you can sit outdoors and get something connected with fish to eat. Not being the fish-eater type of person, it was not very much to choose between. If you like fish it can be a good choice.
Within a stones throw from the ocean you find Veranda Café & Bistro, a place for locals and tourists alike, we have room for every taste and type! For the ones who are visiting the adjacent swimming pools you reach us via our south facing entrance where w
à t lunch med familjen här. Härlig havsutsikt, avslappnad atmosfär (hälften av gästerna har badkläder - typ), mysig veranda. Maten god. Vi åt pasta carnonara, köttbullar samt sallad med friterad chevre (bild). Allt mycket gott.

Me and my lady booked a romantic spa-weekend to bring some light into the dark nordic winter. We have both been here earlier on different business functions. When we checked in the pre-booked champagne failed to materialize. The afternoon tea was ok, even if there was hard to find a place to sit. Cutlery came when prompted. The room is of ok standard even if very small. The highlight for me was their spa treatment ânew manâ, thanks for that! Two dinners were included, three courses. The food was fancily presented but lacked taste and careful cooking. The last evening we decided to leave the table before dessert, it took just too long time (it was jusr cheese, whatâs the problem?). They promised to send it to our room - we have not seen it yet...All in all, for the cost, hardly worth the money. They also have to pay more attention to service and how they meet their guests.
