Thursday evening at 9. We were the only customers. Interior is nice. Nice relaxed background music. Service is refined and good. We had a small meal - preceded by a free appetizer. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Good experience.

One of the best restaurants in Deva. I have eaten here on many occasions and the food never disappoints. Excellent pork roll, liver and tochitura - a Romanian speciality with mamaliga (polenta), pork, telemea (Transylvanian salty cheese) in a tomato-based sauce. Also the papanasi here is among the best in town.It has a pleasant interior, but it's even better to dine out on the shaded terrace outside in warmer weather, a stone's throw from the foot of Deva's citadel. Highly recommended.

The Restaurant is family owned since 2 generations . This is not necesarilly a good thing buy in this case it works in the restaurants favor . The menu is small but simply fantastic , it is a staple of westernromanian cooking and if you want something authentic i'd trully recommend it . Tip : try the goulasch and the pancakes .

It is located near the stable, but you wonât smell the horses. Beautiful landscape with the background of the hills. Great place to dine during summer or when the weather allows you to dine outside. The food quality and choices are good. They are not flexible with the requests, so you must stick to what is written on the menu. The staff are friendly, they do their best to give their service to the guests. Though, they need to know the menu well, to be able to remind the kitchen to serve the meal as expected. The service can be quite slow during the peak hours. Otherwise, this is the place where you can enjoy the food and have good conversation with friends, outdoor while watching those beautiful horses.

We were recomended to eat here by our hotel. We were not disapointed and ate here twice. The food was delicious with huge portions. The staff were very nice and extremely happy that we tipped them. We also came for lunch and ate the meal of the day which is posted on a board. The prices are very reasonable. I thoroughly recomend this place for romanian and hungarian food.

We celebrated my grandmothers 80th birthday here. We booked very late notice (one day in advance) for quite a large gathering, but the staff was very understanding and accommodating. The pizzas were a particular favourite with everyone and the setting was great for a warm but wet summer evening (we were seated outside but undercover). The staff were lovely, in particular the waitress that looked after us (I just can't remember her name I'm sorry). Thank you so much, my grandma was very pleased :).

Great atmosphere, good old time-music and friendly staff. I liked the decoration on the walls inside.I ate breakfast here and found it very tasty. It's called Mediterranean breakfast and indeed it really looked like one.Once I tried some chicken steak with potatoes and some vegetables and found it very tasty. For some extra money, they also deliver food tat your hotel in Deva.Right next to it, there is a small supermarket, in case you need.

It was my second time here and i can only have good things to say about the food and waitress amability. Though you need to know that your food is coming in aproximatelly one hour or more, it is worth to wait. The food is perfect. Duck breast with figs, octopus, soups, espeacilly the one with pumpkin are cooked to perfection. I would definatelly come back when i will be in Deva next time. Thank you very much for sharing your Grizzly experience with us! We're glad to see you enjoyed your meal despite the waiting time.
