We were looking for a place for lunch. Outside his restaurant which was closed, a local instead recommended Restaurante Olan to us. Service was a little slow, but we were in no hurry, and the meal was good. The menu was a mix of Caribbean, Puerto Rican and American tastes, and was in both Spanish and English, with some food photos, which helped. No English speakers here, so be patient, and they will be patient back. :)

Just off the side of highway 10 is El Caracol, the sea snail. We were with a local from the Utuado area who called El Caracol the definitive spot for "frituras" in Central Puerto Rico. Frituras come in all shapes and sizes, the most classic being meat-filled turnovers that look like fried empanadas. The "tripleta" with three different meats was a perfect mid-day snack. There's great outdoor seating overlooking the river. This establishment was destroyed during Maria but is on it's way back up.

Fresh food with accomodating staff. You have to eat outside, but there is shade. The passion fruit juice was fresh squeezed and delicious! We tried everything on the menu and it was all top notch. We highly recommend stopping by!

Went on a road trip to cueva ventana cave and then decided to drive to this restuarant. Driving there it was ok but to many curves. My kids got dizzy. When I arrived to the place it did not look like a rest but after walking in and having the waiter set a table it was very comfortable. The food was super good. We loved it. Pinacolada was super. The waiter was very attentive. I recommend a little remoleding.

We were surprised & delighted by this special place on the lake. The service was warm & friendly. Ambiance is relaxed & welcoming. Tonight we ordered the Mahi Mahi and steak dinner. Both dishes were fresh & delicious. The Mahi Mahi was perfectly prepared ---steamed & lightly spiced with herbs and peppers--- and the thinly cut steak was beautifully cooked. Highly recommend! We are looking forward to another visit! Thank you.

Happily, they have a great restaurant right there! Wonderful salmon and salad dinner and appetizers of tostones and calabazza soup. Great chocolate cake for dessert. Thanks Josh for the great service! Breakfast omelet was quite tasty and a great start to our day. Again, Josh is great.

Hijos Del Josco is the best restaurant in all Utuado. Their Tacolaos are unique. La Loma and La Montaña are excellent for 2 and more people. They have an excellent variety of drinks. Also, it is the cleanest restaurant in the region.

Las Tortugas is THE PLACE TO EAT IN PUERTO RICO...its octopus beats every single restaurant weâve tried on the Island (and I mean from coastal eateries to fine dining in SJ) with its absolutely perfect consistency and taste, and just THE RIGHT AMOUNT of ingredients to make it the best you will ever try. Their TRIFONGO is OTW, and their sampler, El Caparazón, is DELICIOUS (just be aware that itâs for four people and six people can eat from it, depending on appetite).To complete the experience, the scenery and backdrop is beautiful. Oh, and for you Piña Colada lovers, there is no better place to buy one.

Our group of 12 enjoyed an amazing lunch at La Familia. We loved the delicious mofongo y carne frita, stuffed mofongos and the churrascos. Service with a smile all the time and excellent prices! Highly recommended!
