Looking for a great schnitzel in town... look no further. The toppings you can get on a schnitzel are fabulous and delicious. Staff are very friendly. We ordered drinks with our meals at a recent Sunday lunch but the drinks never came. Well, they did eventually come but only after my lunch companion made a bit of fuss. It wasn't particularly busy so I am not sure why the service was so disorganised. One other thing: on the tables were a bound menu of several pages plus a laminated lunch specials menu. There was no indication as to whether the menu with more selections was a lunch or dinner menu, or both. It would be helpful if this were made more obvious, than having to ask.

We stopped here for a late lunch on Saturday.Bowning is a lovely old town just 17 minutes from Yass. The pub is quintessential Australia.The dining room is out the back and as we were quite late only one other couple were still there.As we were deciding on our meal they were raving about their pizza.The chef makes his own sour dough and serves the pizza on a wooden slab (we actually got one to take away for dinner because they looked so good).We had the lamb shanks and the french style chicken snitzel.They were both stunning, so full of flavour, fresh and extremely filling.The chef has been there since January and he and the staff are welcoming,friendly and will do what ever they can to accommodate your foody desires.This place is a must if you are in the area.Lunch is from 12-2.30, they also do dinner but check their website for details.We will definitely be back. My french style chicken snitzel was amazing and the secret sauce was brilliant

Very disappointed!!! Took over an hour to make a couple of Thai dishes. Quality of the massaman was poor and sweet and sour chicken was OK. Finally ready for pick up go to pay there price list on the internet was old so they charge me an extra $7.50 no compromise.... Like I said very disappointed!!!

Big road trip and we stopped here for lunch. I had no great expectations but really enjoyed the cauliflower salad. Was tempted to have a beer but was driving.
