A classic Irish bar and long time favorite. We went today for Bloody Mary and burgers, all very delicious and made to our requests. The blue cheese burger was especially cheesy, not just a few crumbles of cheese. Very friendly service, and since we went in late afternoon it was uncrowded and very fast. Lots of good beer and other menu items to try, we will be back.

Where to start. Party of 20. I know it can be tough to serve that many. However, taking drink and food orders at the same time, drinks didn’t come out until someone actually went and asked nearly 30 minutes later. Then slowly and staggered the drinks came out. 6 families and one family needed to go chase someone down another 20 minutes later because their drinks never came out. Appetizers...90 minutes in. When food actually started to come out, it came out so staggered even though each family ordered together. Some of us were done eating by the time our family received their food. By the time the last person received their food, everyone was done eating. Not once were we asked how our food was....Not once were we asked if we wanted drink refills or another beer.... at 2 hours 15 minutes we started looking for someone to bring our bills. When she finally did, there was food on everyone’s bill that we didn’t order. She brought a bill back 3 times with incorrect food items listed and obviously the incorrect amount. She asked my wife for her bank card and that she would just charge it then. When my wife replied that she wanted the bill first to be sure it’s right, the waitress said “This is Fu**ing Ridiculous”. As I followed her over to her register I let her have it for cursing. The families with me were families whose kid I coached. It’s not acceptable. When manager finally came, she was more concerned with an error on another families bill that left. I, nor any of those families will ever go back. NEVER

We have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The food is good and the staff are friendly. You may have to wait quite a while in the summer especially on Wednesday nights when it is Chicken Pot Pie night. It is delicious and worth the wait. The crust is flaky. It is a generous portion and very filling. The Crest Tavern is a must visit while in Wildwood Crest and is located towards the end of Wildwood Crest, well away from the traffic of Wildwood.

Have a summer place at the Wildwoods. Always packed during the high season therefore we avioded going. This past weekend we went. Large and spacious. Outdoor area and a few indoor seating areas. We sat outside. Heat lamps provided. Service was attentive, food good. Only beer serviced is their own which makes sence. My only concern was the server was going to bring out my soup at the same time as my main, which was ribs. Cold ribs? Not so good. When I brought my concern up she rushed to the kitchen to obtain the soup. Just as I was about to finich the ribs arrrived. The problem with the restaurant is they have runners delivering the food. They are not aware of the correct time to deliver.
