Home to the longest freshwater beach in the world, Wasaga Beach is a summer tourist destination located just two hours north of Toronto. The white sandy beach stretches more than 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) on Nottawasaga Bay and welcomes more than 2 million visitors every summer. Because of its size, the beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. Wasaga Beach is also home to many recreational trails and the Nottawasaga River is good for game fishing, canoeing and boating.

I was there with my wife and two young boys at 5:30 Friday. They crowd was already drunk and the language was not family friendly. We did speak to the server who addressed it with the manager. They allowed the people to carry on and finish their meal. It got so bad at one point it involved people walking on the street below. Not a great scene.

Beach Front ... Indoor, Outdoor & Rooftop Patio. Casual/Fine Dining. Open for Lunch, Dinner and Evening Entertainment
Went to this restuarant Friday June 15th. Made a reservation for what they call the bar-b-que table for six.Nice view of the beach and only seated for a few minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. Food hot and fresh and on our table in about 20 minutes. Food was hot and very enjoyable. Cash only. Maybe this will change later in the season but ask first. We all enjoyed.

Stopped in for lunch and a beer on a friday. It was not busy at all but we waited..and waited...and waited for our meals. Multiple customers complained of the very slow service. Saw customers leave after waiting a long time without even speaking to a server. There must be better places in town to go.On the up side they do have a great view of the beach and Georgian Bay.

Isnât this supposed to be a family restaurant? Why are all the servers wearing mini skirts with either thigh high boots or fishnets? That is legitimately their uniform. Except the big problem is that this isnât Moxieâs. The clientele are not classy professionals, they are a few tables of normal guys watching the game mixed with a flow of guys who appear to be looking for someone wearing drug paraphernalia or looking drunk/high, walking in an out to the bar. The women wearing these very questionable outfits are also for many reasons, should not be. My husband and I decided we will be contacting the manager instead of discussing it on here. This was our third visit here and the last two were when if first opened. We were very unimpressed at that time. This time, the food wait was quick. Thank goodness. For the price, the quality of food is awful. We each had a burger. We paid half that price last week at Brgrz in Collingwood and it was a thousand times better. This was charred in spots, the patty was too small for the bun, two very thick sliced onions on top with a very pale looking tomato and a half dried out slice of pickle. The burger wasnât as good as what I make at home at all but the brioche bun was tasty. The fries are sliced so huge that there is too much potato and not enough crispy outer. It was bland. Our onion rings to start were tasty but again, whoeverâs in the kitchen doesnât know how to use a knife. They were a good inch thick. In total we had 2 burgers, 1 onion rings and a beer. Somehow that came to exactly what we usually spend at Azzurra in Collingwood. Exactly. Couldnât believe it. Very low quality food with poor presentation. Itâs no wonder itâs always empty. If you want to go just to watch a fight or a game this place is good, however the fight was on, as was a stanley cup playoff game, and there were 3 tables in there including us. The philosophy of this restaurant needs serious help. We will not return.

Sat on the Patio; BOTH tables behind us were served First; although we were there before them. Fries are BLAND. Sirloin tip Burger were the same as sold by Costco / Superstore / Etc. If I want one of these, would BBQ myself. 3% HONEST TO GOODNESS TAX ? What a Joke ! Will NOT be returning ! Server: Shelley W

Studs Lonigan is the name of one of the most respected and radical American novels of the 20th century. Quel surprise to find a pub named after Studs in the restaurant barrens of Wasaga!!!Surprise 2 was the super pleasant server, Jane. She could teach restaurants how to get over paying a higher minimum wage by virtue of staff who bring customers back because they've been so well treated.Surprise 3 was a good selection of local Ontario craft beers, including one called Wasaga, which is said not to be brewed in Wasaga. Shame!!Surprise 4 was Irish nachos. The potato slices are still french fried, but at least not genetically engineered like the usual nachos. And the toppings were yummy and generous.

Licensed restaurant and bar. Eat-in or take-out Canadian, Italian or seafood. Also have a licensed patio, entertainment, dancing, bands, and karaoke Thursdays to Sundays.
A real blend of old style bar and tables paired with a fresh-ingredients only ( other than a few universally deep fried appies ) menu. New large screens for sports and lots of tables and some booths. Great value afternoon discounts. Wednesday wing night and live band night very popular. Popular with locals and visitors. Ample parking. Update: Following some mixology training, there is now a growing specialty cocktail menu if a cold beer is not your thing. Nice shaded patio with flower baskets pretty much fully shaded. In one far corner who can hear an HVAC fan but otherwise the outdoor speaker carries the background music nicely. Family friendly with ample room if you need to keep the brood at some distance. Pool and darts.
