A charming village pub just outside Royal Tunbridge Wells. Serving fresh food from locally sourced ingredients, local beer & a fine selection of wine & gins.
This place has become so dirty (cockroaches seen around kitchen area ) the owners are rude, judgemental and not interested in even looking at you if you arenât rich and snobby like them! They do not control their dog and allow it to eat from left over plates, annoy other customers and other dogs. The food is awful and very over priced for the low quality that it is. I would never eat there again after seeing how dirty it is now. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a nice family pub! Total waste of money! Other pubs in the area are much cleaner and friendly! Also, I forgot to mention the amount of dog poo everywhere in the garden making it unsafe for young children to play in! Disgusting.Dear frank, thank you for you Fictitious review of my pub! It clearly demonstrates exactly whatâs wrong with trip advisor, where people can leave reviews of businesses with the aim to leave trolling reviews of businesses when they havenât even visited, with the clear intention to ruin a business. You mentioned that I was rich and snobby, clearly you no nothing about running a pub, I wish I was rich! Unfortunately the true is that every month I invest more of my own money to keep our dream and the village pub alive. The truth of the matter is that your review is fake with the aim to harm me and my business without me knowing who you are or you friends who have left similar reviews over the last 2 days. We are a family run business that strive every day to provide the best for our guest especially families! We provide an extremely family friendly environment with out miniature farm and kids eat free offer. Or dog Margot is a pub favourite and somewhat of a local celebrity that welcomes everyone that walks through the door. Let me be clear that we welcome negative reviews because it helps us learn and grow as a business, we are not perfect. However Itâs fictitious reviews like yours, claiming cockroaches outside our kitchen only goes to ruin a small family run business striving to provide for there family and there local community.

The Elephants Head is a traditional 15th Century English Public House. Serving traditional English pub food and quality Harvey's ales from 12pm Monday - Sunday. Both dog & child friendly, the Elephant has a large garden in the warmer months with stunning
My partner and myself popped in for lunch. I had fish and chips, she had risotto, we had scotch egg for starters. The scotch egg was the best I have tasted, the meal that followed was excellent, good portions of good food. ten out of ten! Thanks.

You'll find The Vineyard nestled in the heart of Lamberhurst, with a beautifully landscaped large garden, terrace and decking area overlooking the extensive vineyards. The atmosphere inside is cosy, with log fires and traditional oak beams and wood-panell
Our first visit to the Vineyard and we were very impressed. Situated in a quiet spot just on the edge of the village of Lamberhurst this is a pleasant looking place with a generous amount of car parking. There is a lot of outdoor space either on a large patio or further down into the garden, which also had some soft "sofa" style seating. The staff were very friendly, attentive and pleasant. There is a good selection of various types of food on the menu from sharing platters to pizzas, steaks, fish and chips and much much more. Prices are not cheap but most items are reasonably well priced. The service was excellent and there was no pressure to hurry up with our order, but once ordered the food arrived quickly. We chose fish & chips and a king prawn linguine. Both were excellent. It was lunchtime and fairly busy and being a warm sunny day most people sat outside with plenty of space, We booked in advance and I would imagine it is important to pre-book especially when the weather isn't good enough to sit outside.

The Bell is a truly quirky pub with rather marvellous rooms in the heart of the village of Ticehurst, East Sussex. Warm and comfortable with extraordinary events and intuitive hospitality, weddings and celebrations a bit of a speciality.
Came here for a wedding and every part of this place is lovely.Facilities were excellent (even to the point of having musical instruments installed as urinals in the Gents), staff were friendly and the quality of food was superb. The grounds were stunning and even though we didn't stay overnight, we did get to go see a family members bedroom and that looked stunning as well. The only downers was that we were told to leave our drinks downstairs before the wedding 40 minutes before the Bride(s) arrived and having just one person working the bar after the ceremony did cause some people missing out on being in the family photos.Hello Mags72 and thank you for writing this review about the Bell.I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with us and am sorry that you weren't allowed to take your drink into the ceremony room. In fact, this is a legal requirement - no alcohol is to be served in the room an hour prior to the ceremony.RegardsHoward

This used to be a very busy traditional type of pub with accommodation. Now I'm not sure what market they are aiming at. We went there for drinks with friends last night and then joined our friends for breakfast this morning. For a Saturday evening it was very quiet - I would have expected the place to be much busier and more atmosphere. The breakfast this morning was quite nice but was quite a wait because the barmaid had forgotten to pass on the message that there were going to be 6 of us for breakfast. But the food was very nice once it did arrive.

An exciting new destination restaurant on the Kent and East Sussex border, delivering the height of authentic Latin dining in a warm and welcoming atmosphere
We really enjoy eating at The Old Vine under the current management. It's been pretty so-so in the past, but now re-cast as Galapagos, it's offering all sorts of interesting Ecuadorian meals, plus an interesting twist on old favourites like linguine. Very pleasant service, Recommended!
