Reviews on Pub food in Vicenza, Province of Vicenza, Italy. Vicenza’s history dates back to pre-Roman times, but it’s a Renaissance figure, Andrea Palladio, with whom the city is most associated. One of the preeminent figures in Western architecture, Palladio built more than twenty buildings here, including the Basilica Palladiana, the Palazzo Chiericati (home to Vicenza’s museum and art gallery), the Teatro Olimpico (his last and some say greatest work) and many other palaces and villas, leading UNESCO to designate the city as a World Heritage Site.

Restaurant, cafe, wine bar and cocktail bar. Ideal location for every moment of the day, from breakfast to the quick and tasty lunch break, from quality dinner to after dinner with international cocktails.
I stopped here for dinner after a full day of travel. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The back patio area is a little oasis. The wait staff were accommodating for me, the foreign traveler. They kindly provided a menu in English and were quick to seat me and take an order. They brought out some bread with a vegetable quinoa spread and some crisps, along with a bottle of sparkling water. The appetizer I ordered was an amazing smoked salmon tartare. The waitress paired it nicely with a semi-dry white wine (two glasses). I followed that with the spaghetti with clams, which was delizioso. Finally, I tried the crema Catalana for dessert. It was a nice ending to a long day. Total price, â¬41,50.

Burgers are awesome - very American style with typical American toppings. Really enjoyed our meal! There were tons of options on the menu too! Being gluten free, there were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and what was okay to have. There was a great selection of beer as well. Will definitely be back!

It was a particularly hot day in Vicenza. We spotted the shady tables of I'll Grottino and took a seat. Service was good. Beer and white wine were cold. Food, from sandwiches to nice vegetable plate, was tasty. Not expensive. Only problem was the connection for the credit card machine was "down". Never know what to make out of that. True or they just want cash? Nevertheless, a good experience.
