Had a late lunch here on a family outing July -16. Ordered veal meatballs 159 sek from the lunch menu. Listed on the menu was veal meatballs, potato pure, pickled cucumber and lingonberries; nothing else. When the food arrived I found the first meatball to taste a lot like bacon but we were all hungry and I thought I shouldnt be too fussy it was after all Harry's not 3 star. While cutting the second meatball I started noticing something looking like bacon inside the meatball. I tried to call the waitress over who reluctantly came over. When I asked if there was bacon in the meatballs she had to go and ask the kitchen. She came back confirming, did not apologize but admitted it should have been listed. She asked if I wanted to order something else but I was pretty disgusted after not having had pork in over 10 years. When the bill arrived we were charged for everything including 3 glasses of water (one for a 2 year old). She continued to say nothing and my mum afraid to make a scene even tipped here. Unbelievable poor service and misleading info. Pork should always be listed and who in their right mind would put it in veal meatballs. The salmon was bland and everything was overpriced (no surprise but still).

Maten var bra. Inget sensationellt utan ordinärt. Vi provade att steka på lavasten vilket var kul. Snabb och trevlig betjäning dock inte helt lyssnande på beställning men de ordnade det,

Le bar et restaurant NyFiket est surtout un pub ou plutôt un bar sportif. Sa décoration ressemble à un bup irlandais. C'est un bar conviviale et agréable. Il y a plusieurs sortes de bières en pression, elles restent bons marchés. Le soir ils servent des assiettes américaines, des hamburgers avec des frites. Ils difusent les matchs de football de la coupe d'europe. Une bonne ambiance.

We were on a road trip with family from Stockholm and were staying in Varberg. There were 4 adults and 2 children. The restaurant was promoted as a relaxing place right on the beachfront with simple but tasty food. We booked a table as it was mid summer and is close to a popular camping site. We had a great table and such an easy place to take children. You order food and drinks inside and they sing out your number and you collect your food. We all ate pizzas. Delicious. Service great. Relaxed atmosphere. Great position and view.Afterwards we walked back along the beach, caught the road 'train' back to Varberg.Highly recommended.
