Submarine House, or Sub House as many refer to it today, still has their famous Cheese steak as its trademark sub. It has been so successful, that they started offering more. More cheese. More steak. More sub. Sub House created the Super Cheese steak for
This is a sports bar that serves up a large menu of very tasty food. Obviously subs are the big menu item, but there is also pizza and a few other sandwich variations. They have vegetarian items. I recommend the Italian (or the super Italian with more meat) or the cheese steak. My "Excellent" rating is in comparison to other bar/restaurants of this type, not to the several fine dining establishments in Troy-Tipp.

Stopped by here with hubby on our way through town. Lived 25 minutes from here all my life but have never been. Great warm bar atmosphere, friendly service, clean, awesome choice of craft brewskis and kick booty food!!! I had the buffalo Goat cheese appetizer with toasted crostini and the chicken chili soup. Yumola!!! We will certainly be back and recommend!!

I've been going to Dunanways since they opened. I am still amazed at the taste, quality, variety of menu items and overall atmosphere. I challenge anyone to pick anything on the menu that isn't the best value you've had --- from a pub! It's a Troy Ohio gem. Yes sometimes it takes time, but what's the old saying "good food takes time. Give this unique pub a try!

Stopped in on a Thursday night for dinner while visiting family in the area. First time visit. Was not crowded at all, pretty quiet which we were happy about. Sports bar theme, lots of tvs, big arcade. Menu is great, lots of selections. Went with pretzel bites as an app. They were disappointing. We have had pretzels at many restaurants and this was one of the worst. They appeared to be the super pretzel brand you buy at the grocery. They had the texture and taste of being microwaved and an odd smokey burnt taste also. Not good. The sauce was just basic nacho cheese. Wasn't worth the price, hoping for better quality then that. The rest of our meal went much better though. Ordered the chicken pizza and Curley fries. Everything was out quickly but hot and fresh. Wow their pizzas are a excellent deal! I believe it was $9 for the pizza, which was a generous size. The toppings were piled on, great flavor. The sauce was good but could of used a little more. Crust was done and good also. We loved the Curley fries! So good, been wanting those since we left. Cooked perfect, golden brown and delicious. We would definitely return, skipping the bites of course, in the future. Our server was attentive and did well. We had a great dinner!

To me Applebee's will always be their beef riblets. They work hard on changing the menu to be exciting and appealing but given I visit an Applebee's maybe one or twice a year (none in reasonable driving distance where I live), my first and typical order is a rib basket. Haven been disappointed over the years so why change.Great service and comfortable environment to enjoy a meal. Well done!
