Beyond a doubt Wood Ranch has the best BBQ meat in southern California. Their Baby Back Ribs are outstanding as is their tri-tip. We have never had a disappointing experience. When we have family gatherings at the house we cater from Wood Ranch. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting.

Met some friends at this biker joint for the rumored "best burger" in town. I can say the service was good, quick, lots of fries, nice place to stop and eat in the canyon, but the "best burger" did not quite live up to it's name. Tasty, yes, good hunk of cheese, yes, hot, yes, but unless you want a flat patty it missed the mark.Atmosphere was fun, lots of biker dudes and babes, had some music going on, fun place to go.
Where to eat Mexican food in Trabuco Canyon: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Friends has closed. It's now M&C Cantina. This place seems to be limping along. It's never busy. The food is decent, but it isn't consistent. I think they are still trying to figure out their menu. They've been open since Fall 2014 but still haven't had their grand opening.....
We loved this place when it was Cismontane Brewing. When Laguna Beach Beer took over in February 2017- we got excited about their adding additional space inside and out, a longer beer menu and more outdoor tables. The atmosphere remained casual, fun, relaxed and neighborhood-y.However, things are again changing and now for the worse. I am shocked that they are encouraging people to bring their young children; there is even a children's food section on their new menu. On Saturday, we stopped by for a beer and were driven out by the young boy (about 8 years old) at the table next to us screaming at his Dad over and over again that he was stupid. We had to leave as screaming kids at a bar is not our idea of a fun Saturday night out.Other changes that are negatives include slow service. All orders are placed at the bar and there is often only one bartender. Glass size has been reduced from a traditional 16oz pint to a tulip glass that I think is only 12 ounces. Plus, it seems like prices have gone up as well. I will give them 2 more tries because there's not much in this neighborhood and because we really used to like it. But, we certainly won't be regulars anymore if there are more screaming children.

Excellent food, excellent service, very loud, but worth it! The owners are extremely hospitable, its just that certain customers are very rude and very loud! It's definitely a place to watch sports and enjoy the food! It needs to be twice it's size- that popular!
