We booked Hatfield Chase Function Room for my sonâs 21st, from booking to the actual event the staff were very helpful and couldnât do enough to make the party perfect. The buffet food was excellent and constantly replenished, venue was perfect and everyone enjoyed them self. The staff helped prepare the room before the party and I canât thank them enough for helping make the event perfect for my son. Highly recommended

We have had many family functions held at the Reindeer including a wedding, christening and birthday parties and have always been very well looked after by the team to ensure all ran smoothly and just how we wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble and thanks to them we have some very special memories there, we will certainly be returning!

You can find The Hatfields in Hatfield Town on the Ash Hill Road, roughly seven miles from Doncaster. We offer a two for one pub food menu and serve till late all week. We hold a civil licence which allows us to hold and cater for civil weddings if need b
We had a fantastic evening, the welcome from Serena was warm and welcoming and all the staff were really friendly. I had steak and ribs, the steak was cooked exactly as requested and was tender. The meat fell off the ribs and the bbq sauce was spot on. We had a great time, thanks again.

Having being recommended this place and seeing the excellent reviews we thought that we would try out this local venue. Access to the Inn is very unassuming and you could be mistaken that you had taken a wrong turning somewhere off the Main Street. The inn is located adjacent to the canal and has mooring facilities which are well used by the boating fraternity however the clientele tend to be locals. On both occasions we have visited the place has been busy and, especially on the last Thursday visit, we were lucky to get a table. It can cater for larger parties but I would strongly recommend booking in advance. The beer is very well kept and the bar is well run. Now onto the food! There is a menu on offer plus a pizza list (eat in or takeaway), a âtwo meals for £10â and a specials board. We have eaten from the menu on both occasions and have not been disappointed. The starters are a plateful in themselves and, for smaller appetites, could well serve as a main course. The potato skins is a particularly hefty portion and the black pudding stack needs to be followed by a rest before starting on the mains. The selection of a main course needs serious consideration about how hungry you are! I hate to see food wasted so to take on some of the menu needs a thought on whether you can manage a starter also. Of particular surprise is the breakfast, the mixed grill or the few options of curry. The plates they come on are the size of a decent tray! The food itself is well prepared and hot...a credit to the chef who, I believe, is also the owner.Overall a little jem of a place for meals with a good bar in a quite little backwater. Located anywhere else this would be a must visit type of location. In addition, the outdoor beer garden looks like it could be a lovely summer spot to watch the world (and boats) go by.

We called here on Sunday for lunch and we are so pleased that we did. The food was delicious and actually tasted home cooked. We will certainly be going again.

Only stayed for one drink with some friends. The choice of beer was average, the price was average for the area and the atmosphere was, well, average. Football was on TV, which most people were watching, so we left after one drink.

I wrote a review a while ago regarding this pub; It wasnât a positive one. However I have now visited the place since new management took over and things have turned around immeasurably. The food is lovely. My wife and I have visited twice in the last few months for lunch and have not been let down. Beer is great and the team are pleasant, as well as friendly.Thank you so much for your kind review! We hope to see you again soon!
