Stopped by here on a whim at lunch time. We were seated quickly and the waiter was right there. There was a large lunch menu, the orders were taken quickly and the food arrived shortly after. Everything was prepared as ordered including special requests and substitutions. The food was excellent and plentiful. We would recommend it to anyone. We were staying in a nearby hotel after being maditorily evacuated from SeaSide, FL for Hurricane Michael. This was an unexpected surprise! Baily our server was fabulous! The food was terrific! Grabbed a bite because it was close to our hotel. Really not good. Nothing like a Hooterâs should be. Not to be cruel, but the poor food was the highlight of the evening. The chicken was chewy. The cheese tater tots were soggy. The service was terrible. The place was rundown. Most of the girls shoukd not have been wearing the Hooter outfits. Just bad.

Large portions and great food. Had the Beef tips over rice (the daily special for 8.99) along with two sides. All side are good especially greens, mac and cheese and fried okra. Had a large portion of tips enough to take some home. Usually get the fried pork chops--two large chops and two sides for 8.99.

The pizza and meatball sub were great. Although the wait seemed a lot longer than the amount of business should have dictated I am writing it off as just a one time thing. Our server was pleasant, our order was correct, the dining area was clean and it is convenient getting into and out of the ample parking lot so all in all we will be repeat customers at Mellow Mushroom.We appreciate your patience and definitely your feedback!
