Reviews on Pub food in Syracuse, Province of Syracuse, Italy. Once one of ancient Greece’s most important cities, today Syracuse (Siracusa in Italian) is a lively town of about 125,000 on Sicily’s southeast coast. The city overflows with amazing remnants from its long history. Romans, Vandals and Normans are but a few of those who ruled here after the Greeks. In Syracuse’s harbor, Ortygia Island (also called Città Vecchia or Old City) is the site of many of the main attractions, including the seventh-century cathedral and the Fountain of Arethusa.

Inside the concept-store "le forme della convivialita' " - a container of workshops design, furniture design - you can appreciate sought and innovative aperitifs and dinners with quality products and selected food, accompanied by a good selection of wines
I've been here several times and it has always been deliciously wonderful. A great place for an aperitif or dinner where you are offered a large variety of freshly prepared fingerfood that are unique and made with typical Sicilian ingredients and a great selection of wine is available. If you are still hungry after your aperitif you should stay for dinner as well. Homemade pasta, yummy main dishes as well as desserts. All are truly excellent. (usually there is a selection of 2 types of pasta dishes as well as 2 main dishes) Various vegetarian options are available. The prices are very reasonable! If you are looking for a unique gift to bring home there are various things made by local artists, fabric makers, etc. Try it, you'll like it!

The pizza was great. The service excellent and the owner very friendly. Good value for money. It is a basic up/pizzeria. We went quite early so not much atmosphere, most people arrive after nine o'clock. Nevertheless the pizza was great, the beer good and the people very friendly!!

We risked coming late on Saturday night (the only night they donât accept reservations) and lucked out by getting seated right away. It took awhile to get noticed/our order taken, but all was forgiven once the pizza arrived. It was the only pizza we had in Ortygia so we donât have another placeâs style to compare it to. We both demolished our pies and were very, very happy. The bread they serve is also quite good, and perhaps a 7 grain? Not many tourists here at all.Thank you for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed our pizza. The fact that ours is not a "tourist" venue is a sign of quality, local patrons are very demanding!we hope to see you soon
