Stopped here for lunch with a business associate and man, I could not decide what I wanted but my final choice was outstanding. Our server was wonderful and the food was just incredible for the price. My biggest fear is that I'll try Applebees again and it won't be like this one............but I will.

Stopped here twice while staying in Statesville. Food was good both times and had good meals both times. Liz was our waitress the last night and did a fantastic job even though she was also tending bar. Seemed to be the place locals go. The Hawaiian tacos were fantastic!
Stopped by Marty's after an afternoon shopping the streets of Statesville with my wife. Beer was cold, service was slow but friendly. Reasonable prices. It smells from years of allowed smoking so if you are sensitive to that, best go elsewhere. This is the 2nd time for us and we only had a couple of beers. We stopped by there for dinner back in 2013. Food was bar food and decent. All on all not a bad place, a bit old, smelly and worn but reasonable prices if you want to stop in for a drink or two.

This place is always hit and miss, but it's more miss than hit. Every 6 months or so we go back to see if it's better and we remember why dislike it so much. The service is very slow. Even if your the only person in the place it's still slow. The food is OK, but not the burgers have always been dry due to them over cooking and i'm sure pusing down on the patty as it cooks. The ribs are good and the tea is sweet. Service is very spotty, we waiting 10 mins for the waiteress to show up and another 10 mins for our drinks and her to come and take our order. There were only a few people in the place, so its not like she had a lot of tables. After we got our food ( 30mins later) we never saw her again. Had to ask the hostess for our check.

I had previous visited this restaurant and written a review. At the time, while newly opened , it had a lot going for it. Minor problems but all were standard for new startup.Food and service were generally very good.Went back for lunch today and it had changed but not for the better.Order a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich along with a order of Tater Tops. While not necesarrity ordered at the same time, I have had both beforeService was OK but they only had two members of the waitstaff present during the lucnh time rush.In other words slow but not the fault of management for under staffing a busy shiftBiggest complaint was the food. I had had both before and both the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Tater Tots were grossly overcooked, particularity the Tater Tots.. Crunchy little hockey pucks. They have done better and let's hope they go back to the original qualllity

Slept at the B.W. across the street, didn't fell like driving. Place has a little bar or a restaurant with the same menu. Since we where thirsty for a cold beer we went to the bar and order a lasagna and a mixed fry. Both where good and the beer was cold. Quality /price was very good.

Tucked away in a back alley in downtown Statesville, sits this cozy eatery that is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet night out. We usually grab a bottle of wine or one of their craft beers on draft and pick a few of their delicious appetizers to share. The waitstaff are always very friendly and knowledgable and the food has always been nothing less than amazing! We are a slight "challenge" to find, but we try to make it worth your while when you get here! Thanks so much for continuing to visit! Sammy does a great job and loves his regulars!

Group of 16 for graduation get together on a non busy Tuesday night. Spoke to staff twice on the day of the gathering for planning purposes. They failed to mention that the air conditioner was out upstairs when we spoke on the phone or when we arrived with our large party. Seated upstairs where the AC was not working. It was so hot and miserable. They had ample opportunity to warn us to plan to go somewhere else on the phone with me that day. The heat ruined the gathering. We asked to be moved downstairs but it did not happen. We asked them to adjust the AC down but they said they could not because the pipes would start dripping on us. On top of that we had one waiter for 16 people. The food wait was long and the one waiter could not keep up with our needs for refilled drinks etc... in the miserable heat. Very poor service and experience. We won't be back. I did communicate my concerns to management who said they owner would call me but it never happened.
