P. J. Harriganâs Bar & Grill is located within the Ramada Inn and it is the only place that we dine at during our three night stays at the Ramada Inn/State College. Their Happy Hour is great and their daily food specials, such as Burger Night and Pizza Night are exceptional, along with their other menu selections. The Bar Tender Cooper and Waitress Patricia have always provided us with outstanding service. Great selection of micro-brew beers and my Wife is always pleased with her Espresso Martini. If you are staying at the Ramada Inn, ask for a ten percent restaurant discount coupon at the motelâs front desk. We will be dining at P. J. Harriganâs Bar & Grill next year. This âOld Geezerâ and his Wife RECOMMENDED!

Likening the era when pockets of immigrants settled in the boroughs of New York City and continued their old world traditions of camaraderie with wonderful food and warm hospitality. Here, at Olde New York, we hope to recreate that comfortable place for y
This self-styled "German pub" had a few German dishes, but otherwise was very much like any American bar/restaurant. However, we chose the restaurant for the German food, so those are the choices we made. My son, who was in Germany for several weeks last summer, was looking forward to the house-made weisswurst. Unfortunately, it was dry and bland (even by white sausage standards). However, the red cabbage and potato pancake are highly recommended. I chose the house-made bratwurst sandwich, which was served on a large roll (they called it a "sausage roll" -- it looked more like a hoagie roll) with sauerkraut and brown mustard on the side. And fries, which made it feel very American bar. The bratwurst had some flavor, but was a bit dry. The sauerkraut and mustard were needed. Our server was relatively new, but she was very helpful and provided appropriately attentive service.

Well, first off. I donât drink and eat. And Champs seems to be center around that and sports. Not so much in that order. I got the pizza. In all honesty. They probably tried hard. They used a good amount of cheese and what appeared to be homemade dough. The sauce was right out of a can with no doctoring. Maybe they should have. The wings were good and large. I was told the salads were okay.

Come to Whiskers and enjoy a truly warm and inviting experience. Our wonderful menu is influenced by a local farm-to-table experience that features a wide variety of fresh ground burgers, salads, charcuteries, and tasty small plates. Sit at our beautiful
Been there with my wife and friends. We had drinks and we ordered food : classic burger, thai salad, lobster bisque, cobb salad with grilled salmon. The most disgusting food we have ever had in State College. Before to serve your salad just WASH IT. The thai salad was horrible, and the sauce with it was the same. The salmon was just not good at all ( tested bland ), the lobster bisque is a waist of money. Just an horrible experience.Sorry that your experience was not to your standards or ours. I hope in the future you give us another try and should any issues arise you request a manager so that we correct your concerns while your still with us.

We enjoyed another wonderful evening at Harrison's dining with friends this week. My barramundi entree was so delicious I'm tempted to go back for another plate next week. My husband liked the scallop special, though would have liked rice or potatoes with it (he had plenty of appetite left for the delicious gingerbread dessert). (He had been hoping for tuna on the menu, but not this time.) The soups are always good. The service is always impeccably professional. The decor is simple and tasteful; the room is quiet and pleasant. It's not large so reservations are a good idea. This place is a gem, hidden inside the Hilton Garden Inn (if the parking lot in front is full you have to park below in the back and come up to the lobby in the elevator). In our opinion it is currently the best fine dining option in State College.Thank you so much for your review, DT25. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoy your experiences dining with us, and we look forward to your next visit! Thank you for your time and your business--we truly appreciate it. Happy holidays!

We were in town for the TEDx events. Local Whiskey was recommended by a local resident because it is owned locally. Must admit expected college town bar food... not so fast. We enjoyed the trout sandwich and philly steak!!! Fresh homemade goodness from start to finish. Our waitress was spectacular and very interested in our stories...and helping us pick the right things from the menu. The whisky was also very good... lots of choice. We enjoyed the window seat and all the people watching two. Such a great place to spend our first day in town! N

Very nice place to dine within a hotel! We grabbed a quick bite to eat before evening meetings started. Service was fast and attentive. Food was very good. The fries were especially yummy. Price wasn't terrible for being in a hotel. Our organization has meetings at this hotel several times a year and will for sure look forward to dining here again.

First time visit and had a great meal. Went with our neighbors who frequent the place. Parking just a short walk to the door. Quickly seated for evening meal. Although several patrons present the room was not too noisey for reasonable conversation. Table was a bit small for 4 guests but we managed. I had the Pittsburgher (large burger with fries in the sandwich and more on the plate) plus a bowl of the potato soup. Very filling and tasty. My wife enjoyed the prime rib sandwich, au-jus, and potato salad. Large sandwich with half coming with us. Would eat there again.

We're nuts about fine beer and fresh, local food. Otto's is fiercely committed to quality. Our beer is handcrafted with the finest ingredients available. Our American bistro cuisine is made with fresh ingredients from local farms, wineries, and bakeries.
The food was okay. Just okay. Nothing special. Great atmosphere. I really wanted to like this a lot. All of us felt the same way. Soups lacked somethingâneeded more flavor/spices (two different soups). Several different meals, all lackluster. A shame.
