This Buffalo Wild Wings is hit or miss, depending upon your server. Tonight, no manager is sight, server with lots of excuses, and a nearly 2 hour experience. Other tables around us, with different servers, received their food in a timely manner. Us? Our server was a one-trick-at-a-time pony who turned our check in late and then blamed the kitchen for everything. Sad thing? This guy has been there, providing terrible service, for nearly a year. Sad, Mr./Mrs. Manager, really sad. Oh, and a draft, popular microbrew was $6.50. Beer is more affordable in Key West...

You will experience many varied takes on favorites. I had the BBQ chicken quesadilla with grilled onions, peppers, pesto, and gouda cheese on a spinach tortilla. Really good. The person with me had the smoked chicken mac and cheese. She reported that it was good as well.We enjoyed our visit and will return to try some of the many offerings.
Walking through the various bars and restaurants of the Cotton District, caught the smell of delicious BBQ. Followed that smell to the Two Brothers.Lot of interesting choices on serving the available smoked meats, including duck.I selected the Pork and Pepper tacos, which were large soft tortillas stuffed full of pulled pork and colorful peppers. As beautiful as they were, they tasted better. I also selected their potato salad as a side, which was of the twice baked variety. Perfect pairing and with an accompanying bottled craft beer.Service and prices were also a positive. Will definitely come back on next visit to Starkville.

Definitely had a great time on gameday. I love the little area that it is in. Service was fun and it was packed on gameday. Will return. Side note- you can definitely taste the truffles on the fries. Very yummy.

Food was very tasty. Kids had Italian quality pizza. I had the crab cake sandwich and my husband had fish and chips. Beer was also good. Outdoor atmosphere was the best. I gave 4 stars because service was a little slow.

$2 drink specials after the game. Crawfish tails were pretty good. Beignets were not so great. Atmosphere was great. TV at all booths. Bar in the front and a bar in the back. Lots of draft beer choices. Neat little place.

Great beer specials too. Love the wing flavors. Was an away team visitor and had a great time here. Definitely take the oysters off the menu. They were god awful but the manager took them off our bill. Great time will return.

Every college town worth its salt has a dark and crusty hangout on the fringe where good food and cold beers are at the center of good times. Dave's is that place for Mississippi State and Starkville. New York-style (e.g. The Titan), Chicago-style (e.g. The Chronic), and vegetarian pizzas, as well as tasty burgers, wings and gyros are menu favorites. Vegan and gluten-free options are also highlighted. Live music is frequently on tap as well. All these things make Dave's a great place to unwind at the end of a long week.

This is my second review of The Veranda on TripAdvisor, and I regret to say that I cannot give it another glowing review. We have eaten here often for years and the food and service have always been outstanding. But today, it was poor. Not even average. We arrived at 12:15 and were seated in the bar - it was crowded, but not as crowded as I've seen it at that time of day. The waitress was average at best, not typical at all. She brought water, but no straws, and when we asked, it took a long time to get them. Once our appetizer came out, we didn't see her again for a very long time - and our food didn't arrive until nearly 1:30. Really unacceptable. My husband's waffle was flat and tasteless, my order was wrong. I had ordered a blue plate with quiche, cheese grits, bacon and a cinnamon roll. Instead of quiche, I was given 2 chicken strips, covered in some kind of sauce (and the chicken was very dry, like it had been sitting out awhile). The bacon was limp and greasy and cold. The cheese grits and the cinnamon roll were both cold and tasted like they had been sitting out - edges were hard, etc. When I mentioned I ordered quiche, she just said "oh" and I said "never mind - I'll eat the chicken" because we had been waiting so long and my husband was planning to go to the 2:00 baseball game. She finally brought out a piece of quiche, and when I tasted it, it was also cold. After this, we never saw her again - another waitress brought our bill. We have NEVER had this kind of experience at The Veranda and are really disappointed. My husband has seen other negative reviews recently and we were hoping they were not true and that they are not letting the food and service go. We were really, really disappointed because it's one of our favorite places to eat in Starkville. But I'm afraid it will be a long time before we go back - Restaurant Tyler, Bulldog Burger, The Little Dooey and other places that have good food and service will get our business in the future.
