Iâm torn because we frequently visit McNallyâs after work for a drink and appetizer, and we usually enjoy the atmosphere and the service. Unfortunately, the last three times weâve gone (two we had the same server) the service and been less than stellar. One time we were one of only three tables in the whole restaurant, but it took nearly thirty minutes to order our food. She took our drink orders, disappeared for ten minutes, brought the drinks, then disappeared again for over 15 minutes before coming back. Even then we had to ask for menus and to order food - and we had to ask for refills on water. Then after we got the food we had to track someone down to get silverware. Another visit it was definitely busier so we didnât expect fast service - but again we werenât asked if we wanted food, we were there for over twenty minutes before we were given menus, and you would have thought the waitress hated us based on how little she interacted. We honestly felt like we were a bother to her. The last couple of post-work outings we have gone elsewhere just to give everyone a break. I miss the friendly and quick service we used to get. Hi there,I'm so sorry to hear this!! We pride ourselves in always offering fast and friendly service! I would love the opportunity to speak further about this with you. If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind giving the Pub a call or sending us an email? I would really appreciate it as I would like to get to the bottom of this service issue and nip it in the bud.Our number at the Pub is 605-271-7170 or if you prefer, our email is [email protected] you so much for your honest feedback, it is truly appreciated!

I have been to Ode many times, but not so recently until last week. I am always impressed about how the food stays consistently yummy time after time. Mike the owner is a great guy who truly appreciates his customers. This is a gem in the 8th/Railroad area of downtown Sioux Falls. Always and still highly recommended.

An authentic Irish pub located in Sioux Falls, SD. Specializing in Irish fare, Irish atmosphere & a large selection of draught beers. Family Friendly.
We liked the location and atmosphere. Options of dinning indoor or outdoor. I'm a super light weight with alcohol. Had a Moscow Mule which was served in a glass and tasted like ginger ale. Normally would have had a buzz with half a glass. No alcohol in this one. Appetizer recommended by server Drunkin Spicy Shrimp- mistake the sauce was good but shrimp bland-they needed to be marinated in the sauce. Ordered Reuben sandwiches beacuse we were in an Irish Pub. Bread was great and grilled perfectly. The corned beef was tender and juicy but lacked ANY flavor. It seemed like the corned beef had been resting in some type of water/mild broth that allowed the flavor of meat to escape. My Husband's fries were cold. This place has potential but needs more attention to detail in the kitchen and bar. We would not return.

On a roadtrip to try the breweries in Fargo, ND...we decided to make a pit-stop at Monk's in Sioux Falls. In downtown Sioux Falls, not far from I-29, we found the historic 'biscuit company' building where Monk's now resides. They had a great selection of house, local and regional beers, and to make it more fun, they are tied into the Untappd app so you can see (and post yourself) on their video boards who's enjoying which beer...and even learn more about the beers before you try them. We had a quick sandwich while there as well, and the food was ok for a quick lunch and beer. I hope to make it back to Monk's again when I can stay awhile. It's family friendly, spacious yet 'cozy'. A great place. Thanks for the good review! We certainly hope you can make it back to Monks!

Burgers. Bourbon. Brews. Come see us soon at TapHouse 41!
We were given the menu and told that one of the guys would be taking care of our table. The only two guys in the restaurant totally ignored us. We finally ask the girl who gave us the menu, who has our table? Again she said his name and walked away. He finally came over after 10 minutes. They obviously donât need the business or care to have the business.

Quick summary: a wide menu range of traditional fare and some newer items. Moderate prices. Friendly professional service. Restaurant and separate bar area.We were staying overnight in Sioux Falls and decided on this place for dinner. The restaurant area was busy, so we had dinner at the bar for faster seating. The menu is wide-ranging: small plates ($5-7 mostly) included meatballs, avocado bruschetta, etc. a variety of flatbreads are $12-17. You can get a good main dish plate from the $teens into the $20's, eg fish & chips $16.50' ribeye with sides $28. There is also plenty of other options in chicken, fish, pastas, burgers, salads, and soups.Mt husband and I split a good-sized house salad ($4.29). He had the bison burger with truffle fries ($16.28), and I had the chicken limone -- three chicken paillettes served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All was fresh-tasting and well prepared as asked.Full bar and a nice wine list with reasonable prices. We enjoyed watching the games with decent sports channels, and the friendly, attentive service at the bar, even on a very busy Saturday evening. What keeps this place from being a five dot? Nothing that can't be corrected, but due diligence:1. The high top table we first sat at must have had a nest of fruit flies nearby. We had to love, and shamed off the little buggers at the main bar. We brought it to the attention of the management, and they seemed to want to work on it (an ongoing problem in this season?)2. Mt husband is a big IPA fan, and enjoys trying the craft brews in our travels. He found the selection here to be unimpressive. He does't need a lot of variety, just better beer. To quote him: "not bad, but I've had better beers."So-- we'd stop again for the food, but my husband would probably switch to wine with dinner.Throughout: friendly, professional service.

Food delicious but, host /greeter attitude was a wet blanket , he appeared to be very unhappy with something when we walked in . No conversation, motioned to a table, shrugged his shoulders, tossed the menus to us on table. We asked about sitting in the street-sidewalk area close by. (There were 2 empty tables and another table emptying, but glasses needed clearing ). He acted like we were putting him out. In a seconds to minutes , he cleared the tables. Did not acknowledge us , when my friend asked politely if we could move to the table , he just shrugged his shoulders (no conversation )walked over to the table , we followed ( awkward ) this happened in a matter of a few seconds to a couple of minutes ) but seemed like forever.Even with this crazy beginning , our server was nice, friendly, excellent! Do not know his name (he had a feather tattoo on his inner right forearm) The suggestions he gave were right on. Wings were good Buffalo and BBQ bourbon. Bread sticks or poles were soft and crusty . Pizzas were fresh and tasty. The Huckleberry beer was refreshing.Ourserver was an asset to this restaurant. He made a not so good first impression of the place disappear . This was on Tuesday evening around 830 pm . The hours were till 10 . We had traveled over 400 miles , did not know the or might have left. Beautiful city, good food , great service. . shows one guy had a bad day or bad life. Thanks to our young, nice server with the tattoo!!He saved our time and made an outstanding impression. Thank you for the review and letting us know about the host situation. We have addressed it with our team to make sure our guests are greeted with an upbeat smile each time! Sounds like your server was Link, he is great and we are so glad to hear he did such a good job. We will let him know how he did!

Award Winning Burgers with Fresh-cut Chips & Fries. 40 Beers on tap.
Stopped here for late evening dinner on a business trip based on reviews. The service is outstanding and very kind bartender. I had the mushroom teriyaki burger. It was messy but tasty! The fries were also good. Decent beer selection. It's more of a pub than a bar. Thanks for the visit and review!
