This is our new favorite place to eat. I canât get enough of the 5 Cheese Cheeseburger on Sourdough Bread! I get to take half of it home for lunch the next day. The home made potato chips are my husbandâs favorite. The place is kind of small, we wish it was bigger so seating wasnât such an issue. Full bar, great menu.

Cody's is a fun place to go. Food has always been delicious esp. their salmon. But the noise level is unacceptable and the tables are too crowded together. Ask for a booth as it eliminates the crowding. Tables are way too close. Hope you don't have to go to the restrooms as you will disrupt your table as well as those sitting behind you.

Great buffet at Island View restaurant when everything else was closed for hurricane Irma. Island View was open on generator power and the food was excellent as usual. Thanks to Chef Kevin and all the staff.

Almost too many choices. Food has good portions, taste good, family style foods available, management a little pushy with waite staff. Good for lunch and dinner or evening, couples or groups of friends and family.

We have been here a few times and it's always good, I've had the boneless wings each time, the honey BBQ, the spicy BBQ and the hot Yaki wings are all great, she's had the burger and the chicken tenders and loved both, the tenders with the honey mustard were maybe the best I've ever tried. We've only had the seasoned fries because they are so good and you get a nice size serving, and the beer is ice cold, there is actually ice on top of the mug when you get it, our waitress was prompt and very nice, she did an excellent job.

We were visiting friends at a fish camp near Lorida, FL and decided to go out for lunch. Since the Gator Shack was one of the only restaurants nearby, that's where we went. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, but the insides were clean and welcoming. Our friends ordered the Platter which came with fish, shrimp, and gator. His wife had the special of the day, a Rodeo Burger which I also ordered. It turned out to be a very large and juicy burger topped with the usual lettuce, onion, and tomato but also was topped with fried onion rings, mayo, and BBQ sauce. It was really messy, but one of the best burgers I've had lately. All of the entrees were served with a nice side salad which brings up another point. My wife ordered a salad with blackened fish. While she really liked the salad, she couldn't understand why it was served with a "side" salad. Oh well. Our waitress, Serenity, seemed a bit rattled, mixing up our orders and drinks, but was otherwise very friendly. This was a real experience, but one I'm not sorry we had.Dear Paul S,Thank you for your review of The Gator Shack. We are delighted to hear that you and your friends had a wonderful time with us. Are you ready to please your taste buds with a juicy proprietary blend of USDA Choice beef for the perfect "gourmet" burger? I enjoyed "The Sebring" burger this past Wednesday afternoon. Apex @ Seven is the race themed lounge at Hotel Seven, named after the world famous Turn 7 "Hairpin" from Sebring 12 Hours fame. There are several specialty burgers to choose from and other hand held selections also. Salads are wonderful but felt like a burger this day.The Sebring includes your fresh, not frozen beef patty with a fried egg as you like it. Bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion of you please. Horse radishh spread gives this juicy delight that special "kick" but not overbearing to the senses. A selection of fries were available and i picked the small size....deliciious. Ask for less salt...I don't add salt as rule. Enjoy and maybe you will get lucky and race cars will be on the track, perfect view from the Apex lounge.Thank you for your kind words, we can't wait to see you again. I ordered the fish and chips which was a large piece of Haddock cooked perfectly along with a pile of French fries that were just average, and a salad.. The Mrs. ordered up the 1/2 pound shrimp, a salad and we shared a six piece wing appetizer.. All was good and we both took some home for later which was also very good reheated.. Although it serves good food and large portions it is a bit grungy and could use a thorough cleaning along with a fresh coat of paint and new table tops.. We have been frequenting it most of the twelve years that we've been here and can't remember anything other then the outside being redone.. Waitresses need to cover their tattoo's and more of their body parts as its not a " man cave " but a family restaurant with mostly seniors who are way past getting excited!!
