Went with a group on a recent Saturday night, well aware of iffy reviews ... but it was not my choice. It wasn't busy when we arrived but did pickup. There couldn't have been more than two waitresses that night. Some menu items were sold out, some not even carried anymore. Some orders were forgotten and all seemed to take a long time. The food for the most part was border line good, portions were big. I don't think anyone got to order a second drink, although several jugs of water were dropped off. Dessert was out of the question. I think it was probably a management issue. With all the places available, won't be back anytime soon.
This is by no means a fancy spot, but 25 cent wings drew us in! A pub like atmosphere, cheap drinks and delicious wings made this a happy meal! Our waitress was quick and attentive, and the food was made quickly....and portions were large! We loved the wings especially, but our whole meal was great! The bill was the nicest surprise....no hurt here!

Montanaâs is a Canadian BBQ & Bar joint famous for our Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, 100% Canadian Steaks and Burgers, and a variety of other favorites like Fire-Grilled Chicken Tacoâs and Mac N Cheese. Weâre a casual restaurant thatâs great for all occasions a
We were in Sault Ste Marie for a medical appointment and decided to have a late lunch before heading back to Sudbury. We chose Montanaâs because usually this chain always has good food, weâve been to many, in different locations and we have always walked out happy with our experience. That is, until we ate at this Montanaâs in Sault Ste Marie. The only good thing about it was the view of the bridge to the states where we sat. There were only a handful of customers when we were there, so it wasnât overly busy. We ordered a Cobb salad for me, wings and poutine for my husband and crispy onion rings to share. When the waitress brought our order to the table, she brought everything except the wings, stating that itâll take another minute or so before they come. Well, it took so long that we honestly think she initially forgot to place the order for them and ordered them as an afterthought! My salad was ok, except for the presentation. Usually, Cobb salads are served with all the ingredients on top of a bed of lettuce, placed nicely, one beside the other. Not this one! It was tossed, with a dry piece of grilled chicken sitting on top. I only saw a couple of mushroom slices and a few onions, mixed in the wilted lettuce. The âcrispyâ onion rings were crispy alright! They were way overdone! The fries in the poutine tasted rubbery, like they had been sitting a while before they made the poutine. When the wings finally came, ten minutes later, they were overdone also! We were given no extra napkins, no bucket for the bones, no wet-naps. When my husband pulled out the bbq sauce bottle to add a bit more sauce to his wings, the bottle had a long hair stuck to it, gross. Nothing about this meal was any good and had we not been in a hurry to get going, we definitely would have complained! We wonât be going back to this restaurant and the owners should be ashamed to call themselves Montanaâs! Good Afternoon Gina and Dave. We are terribly sorry about the experience you had with us recently and we want to ensure that this is made right. I was a big fan of the iron club the restaurant before it became Mulligan's but that said they have done a great job with the Reno's. Came here for after a golf event. Food was great. Ordered the chicken club sandwich. It was awesome. Lots of flavour and well portioned. Will definitely be back.

Please allow me to introduce my restaurant. My Name is Wendy Cristello, and I am the owner of the Park Grille here in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Home to the "best burger in town" and the "finest conqueso on the planet", the Park Grille boasts a diverse me
For a place that claims to have the best burgers, they were by far the worst burgers we've ever had. If you like burned, dried out burgers, this is the place for you. On the other hand, the fresh cut fries were good. Would not recommend and wouldn't return.
Food and service here are better than they have to be for a tourist oriented place, innotable (and yes, sad) contrast to the other side of the border, (with exceptions, of course.)Excellent spinach salad and fish ânâ chips, wine and beer. Great view of the river and shipping traffic too. Canadian proud. So unselfconscious. How refreshing. Thanks, Canadians!

The Boiler Room provided an outstanding pub experience recently. Our server was exceptional. The pizza was excellent and that's something to say about a place serving pizza in Sault Ste Marie where the majority of restaurants serve Italian fare and pizza has always been better than good here. Beer choices were awesome. Very nice vibe and nice to be dining in a place where the age bracket was mostly over 50 for a change. As this was the dinner hour, the younger crowd comes out much later in the evening and in fact as we were leaving, the crowd demographics were already changing to a much lower average age. The menu offers some great pizza options as well as salads, appies and sandwiches. The Boiler Room is a place to return to for another light meal.

In a hotel (not ours) but close to our hotel.....We completely enjoyed our meal!! My wife was enthralled with her seafood pasta! I was a bit subdued with eh squash ravioli with maple cream sauce. A little rich for my blood!Service was fabulous!! Could not say any more for our lovely server!!
