Had a blast in this place and so did our kids. Lots of stuff to see, a throwback experience in the old Sacramento. The staff is "weird": they barely speak to you and tend to smirk a lot - I guess they see too many tourists and stop caring about greeting people in a friendly way. You order at the grill and come back to take your order and go up the stairs with your trays back to your table. A bit unusual as well. They don't take credit cards even if they officially state they do: there was 16 of us and we tried at least 7 different cards, Amex, Visa, Mastercard, none of them were going through and the manager pointed at the ATM, conveniently located just next to the counter (so apparently a bit of a habit there to get paid in cash most of the time.Beside this weird attitude of the staff, the place is fun and the food is good.

Four of us dined here this week before going to a baseball game. Our waiter, Jack, was pleasant, efficient and cordial. Our meal was delightful. Two of us had delicious fish tacos, one had fresh salmon on a green salad, and one had pork ribs. Splitting a bottle of Malbec and a brownie ice cream dessert made for a perfect meal. This place was a gem. Loved the menu. Lots of options for dining. A great find! Thanks for the great review! We are so glad you enjoyed your experience.

Okay, let me start with what I loved. huge seating area, inside and out, large windows, comfy seats, plenty of spaces between tables, and places for really large groups without being super noisy. They were out of the impossible burger (no one's fault, just a thing), so I had the turkey/brie/apple/fig jam sandwich with a side salad. My friend had the Asian street tacos (those looked amazing!). Kayla did a super job of checking on our drinks and knew the menu really well. However, two things I did not enjoy: the bread was not delicious. It was dry, it had that "I've been out a bit" texture, and it detracted from an otherwise really great sandwich. Second, I know it's the "thing" these days but oof, please use plates for food. It's a pain to try to eat a salad on a wooden serving board. Would I go again? Yep, it's a huge and great menu. Plus they're open early and stay open straight through the day.

Very authentic British fare for those who long for it again or who want to experience for the first time. Decorated with all sorts of posters and such from the UK and with beers and dishes you only would find there. The place is a very old restored brick building with the original hardwood floors and it takes you back in time. There's nothing like having bangers and English cheddar with homemade scones. They also have tempeh and tofu for those who are vegetarian. Those Brits also know how to make their tea and they even bring you mugs that are already warmed to keep it hot longer. Sunday brunch is our tradition but if you don't get there before 9 plan on waiting - often over 30 minutes. Even though they added outside seating a few years back, it still is so popular that it hasn't made a dent in waiting time.

Having just returned from Ireland a few weeks earlier, my wife and I stopped by de Vere's for a nostalgic refresher on Irish hospitality. A wonderful pub with a convenient location across the from the state capitol. We split a salad and a burger - both were delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive and took great care of us!A great place in Sacramento to experience a bit of Irish hospitality!

I had a Great Table with 6 friends watching the Warriors game on the Bottom TV and the Sharks game above it. The food was very tasty from the Buttered Pretzels to the Combo Pizza to the Fire Wings. The Beer flowed like water and the bill at the end of the night was unbelievably low. It will definitely be a stop on my list whenever I am in town.

They serve hamburgers and salad, and beer and wine and are open very late. We found it on google.
The burger was just ok. No real flavor. Same with curly fries and onion rings and dipping sauces. They need to add seasoning or something to everything- burger, sauce, fries! It was pretty bland. Good sized portions of bland food. Good selection of beers. Nice atmosphere. Bland food. 3 out of the 4 of us all felt the same way. The one person had pastrami and sauerkraut so it had flavor.
