How many times does one get to dine outdoors overlooking a golf course? So just the setting makes for a memorable visit. The menu is limited in entrees but the app menu was soooo good. The four of us shared Garlic Knots (*****), Potato Chips (home-made ****), Meatballs (*****), Pig Wings (***), Siracha Chicken Bites (***) and Marinated Chicken Wings (*****). The portions were generous and prices were all in the $11.00-$13.00 range except for the chips and knots which were around $6.00. The outdoor seating area was a stone deck with plenty of room but on a windy day could be extremely cool because of the tunnel effect. Also, the proximity of the GSP creates a bit of a noise din but can be overlooked. Drinks are well priced and the servers were all very polite and responsive. High tables are outfitted with built-in fire pits and the tables throwing off flames after the sun sets a great ambiance! There is a wonderful inside space for dining as well as the outdoor deck described and a small indoor bar as well.

Had dinner here on a Friday night and it was ok. We started off with some margaritas and they have a decent selection from the traditional offerings to some with fruity (guava, etc.) twists. You can even upgrade to Cuervo 1800 tequila for only a dollar more! For appetizers, we started off with the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was a little chunkier than we like and the flavor was just ok --- it was missing some of the fresh lime juice and sharp flavor that we prefer with our guac. The chips were also a little thicker than we're accustomed and a bit too crunchy. We also had the grilled corn, which was really good. 3" sections of grilled corn on the cob were covered in tasty cheese and spices and served on a stick to prevent a mess - worth trying. For our entrees, we both had 3-tacos each. I had the chicken, which had more of a mushed up consistency (think chicken salad) style and somewhat mild flavor. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they were grilled and seasoned well - the tastier choice. The vibe was upbeat and the hostess and server were nice. They have a bar and several TV's so if you're looking to grab a drink and some tacos, this place is worth checking out.

I had a blackened chicken sandwich as is with a side salad. It was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had. Pickles seem made in house and the salad was mostly spinach with some iceberg, and a good chunky blue cheese. Better than your average bar sand, that's for sure.

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor...We were traveling through the area. It is a local establishment, not fancy and not very big. However, the menu was extensive and the beer selection was huge. Prices are very reasonable. The pizza and wings were great. The pizza is thin and crispy. A great experience overall.

Classic American Tavern with a rich list of Seasonal Food, Fine Ales, Spirits and Wines. In business for over 67 years, we never rest on our laurels. Charming dining spaces, spacious bars and an unrivaled Patio Dining area in the Spring and Summer.
This place lives on its reputation, but the food is not great. Easy to review this place:Apps-I do not even get the port bun sandwich. What is it supposed to be? Two buns with almost nothing in it, and charge a lot for it. Calamari app was the best dish of the night, and it barely would pass as a decent app.Pizza- put sauce and cheese on a flour taco shell, and charge a lot. It really was bad. Two pizzas were both sad versions.Rueben-Extremely sad version of a Rueben. No cole slaw, skimpy on everything else. Skinniest Reuben I have ever had.Service was not good. The young guy would not even check on us. We had to stand up and flag him down to get his attention. When we were almost done, he decides to bring out an app that he forgot to bring. In fact, we were only half way done with the apps when they brought out the main courses. Ridiculous. They were putting dishes on the table next to us to fit everything. Again, service was terrible. To My Followers:Give this place a miss. It truly does not deserve your patronage. Any decent owner would shut this place down.

Mostly a continental pay-as-you-go breakfast with a few made-to-order breakfast sandwiches. Good value for $6.99 for a breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Khowla, who is the breakfast server, is one of the nicest people and can't do enough for you. Also ate dinner one night...their Marsala burger with crisp fries was large, messy and very, very delicious. Well worth the price!

Had lunch here for the first time today. What a friendly atmosphere! The owner was chatting with everyone -he was terrific in making sure we had everything we needed. Our server was wonderful too. The menu offers everything from traditional Irish dishes to sandwiches and salads. The chicken pot pie was delicious (and the lunch portion was abundant). The "super salad" was filled with fresh mozzarella and breaded chicken in addition to fresh veggies, dried fruit and lettuce. Also tried the "spicy chicken" sandwich, which was delicious and served with a very generous portion of French fries. A great place to try if you are in the area, for sure. I would recommend highly.

New place off Westfield Ave in Roselle Park. Well worth the stop. The burgers are to die for. All menu items tasty and well done. The Reuben rolls on the app menu is delicious. The Bartenders and wait staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended this great neighborhood place.
