Went here for the first time with no expectations. It was a fun and lively place. Very friendly and efficient service and good food. The menu is interesting. We only had an entree salad which was excellent. My friend had a beer which she said was very good. I really liked the local feeling. Will definitely return.

Located in a new strip mall, La Lupita is very new and clean looking with interesting wall art. The staff is very friendly and solicitous. However, the food was not very good. (Maybe because it was a Sunday evening.) When evaluating Mexican food, the "gold standard" for my wife and myself is carnitas. My wife ordered the carnitas tacos and I ordered the carnitas super burrito. Unfortunately, the carnitas were dry and tasteless. Interestingly, on the wall were taped pieces of paper and a white board with East Indian food items listed. Apparently, there is an East Indian connection to this restaurant, but we could not find out due to the language issue. We will not return.
In a mall known for its Asian food, having a Peruvian restaurant is a bit out of the ordinary. My wife and I have traveled in Peru a lot and know our Peruvian cuisine. Inca Palace is as good as any restaurant in Peru. We had an extraordinary ceviche, perfectly marinated and really fresh fish. The anticuchos were terrific as was the wonderful fish soup. Kudos to this new place!

I can't review Armistice's food. I had heard about their beer from a nearby Mexican restaurant.A patron waiting for his order asked me what kind of suds I liked, and recommended "Grunt" (Per their website: "English Bitter: Brewed with locally grown and malted malts from Admiral Maltings, in Alameda, CA. 4.8% ABV"). They filled and capped a 2-pint can for me to take home (Don't drink and drive!).I can testify, now safely at home -- (1) that's a LOT of beer!* and (2) it is a great brew!! NOT bitter, contrary to description. Very smooth and tasty.___________________* I laboriously poured about 12 ounces into an empty water bottle that I could seal securely (we'll see how that works). My wife and I unevenly split the rest.

We recently enjoy this historic and novel venue for a small group dinner. Everyone had been before except for me. So I got to see it with fresh eyes. Wonderfully decorated for the holidays, as you walk in you feel balanced between the present and the past. With itâs long history and well kept interior Hotel Mac offers a wonderful place to visit, catch up and linger over a lovely meal. Well sized portions, good prices and nice selections of offerings help. Even vegans in our group had several options to choose from. Service is ok. Our server while competent, wasnât especially friendly and came across a bit a few degrees cooler than welcoming. (Maybe it was a bad night or she was working solo- so Iâll give her the benefit of the situational cause)The food was well flavored, hearty and suited for our purposes. With live entertainment drifting up, we were impressed we could still continue on with our table talk. Iâd say its a must try for sure!
