Been here about 4-5 times in the last month -- that's how much I love it. Dinner during the week; lunch on weekends; the occasional stop in for a cocktail. LOVE the service, cuisine (basic bar fare but upscale and beautifully presented.) A wonderful and worthwhile dining experience.

Found this place purely by chance while driving around in Westchester. You actually need to look hard to notice it - it shares quite dull neighbors of your average suburbia mini-mall. Inside, though, this is a modern American-style restaurant/sports bar with an impressive menu and an equally attractive wine/spirits list. The service was top-notch, the food selection - mouth-watering, the quality of preparation and presentation earned top marks. Some menu items were quite fancy in terms of style fusion. All in all, a very positive experience, and if I'm ever back to that area again, will definitely pay another visit.

My wife and I visited Sleepy Hollow for a long weekend to celebrate the Halloween festivities this year and stayed at the Doubletree in Tarrytown. The Bridge View Tavern was a place we read about on TripAdvsior prior to going and wanted to check it out for lunch on a Friday as it was a close drive. We had an awesome experience and our server Patty was a large reason why. She greeted us immediately and talked to us like old friends. We told her we were in Sleepy Hollow to see the sites, etc. and not only did she give us a map with info she also recommended several things to do in the area. We had excellent (and spicy) Bloody Maryâs and burgers for lunch and everything was fantastic â the Chorizo Burger was unique and I loved it. We then walked around town all day, went on a cemetery tour, etc. for the next 8 hours and decided to come back for drinks and snacks. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of speaking to Patty once more and learned she is actually the GM of the place. She was a joy to talk to and she and her staff are excellent. The bartenders we had were on top of everything and the Yankees were playing so it was packed. We ended up staying until close because we were having such a great time. They also have a little beer garden out back, but we didnât have a chance to see it as we wanted to watch the game. Make sure to try the pulled pork nachos. I would highly recommend this place for top shelf food, craft beers and an awesome staff!

As the old Irish expression goes, "I'd hate to have your nerve in my tooth." Without even a single authentic (Sheppard's pie) or pretend (Irish nachos) Irish item on the menu, given O'Connor's "Irish" pub credit for sheer moxie. Yes, Guinness is on tap. But not a single other tap hosted suds from the Emerald Isle. A decent beer from Iceland is on offer and that is one letter remove from Ireland so partial credit there.

While they don't have an indoor playground like McDonalds, our grandkids love going to Gordo's with us. Good, solid burgers and fries, many other great dishes for grandparents and adventurous kids (unlike our two...) The place is dated, just like your favorite sweater and that's fine with us. The service is friendly and efficient. This place is a family favorite.

There is a wine/drink menu and a separate two page beer/ale/stout menu neatly organized by type with clear descriptions of each including alcohol strength.Highly recommend the Old Rasputin Stout.Wide array of food selections including burgers, salads, streaks, great wings, and Panini sandwiches; went for the Cuban and was quite tasty and larger than expected. The topper, for $1.50, the menu allowed you to upgrade to onion rings and others but the rings are authentic beer battered onion rings and not the cheaper institutional crumb breading onion rings most restaurants serve.
Located a half block from the Metro-North train exit, the modestly-sized bar fits a niche between the tony bar at the Iron Horse Grill and the more workaday establishments that sit opposite each other further down Bedford Road. More of a place you would order your own cocktail than relying on the bartender to come up with one but not a place to sit an swig beer with your sports fan friends. Lucy, whoever that is, offers bands on several nights although given the size of the place, it might be a little tight for dancing. The short menu adds to the attraction and prices are in keeping with the Westchester market. In short, a good fit in its niche.
