Visited this restaurant for lunch las week .Was busy ,but got a table quickly .Staff were good ,friendly and attentive .Food was better than expected ,a very good selection ,and a great selection of beers from around the world .Dessert was good as well .Well priced as well .Just on the outskirts of Perigueux ,and well worth a visit .

I've been on the lookout for a cocktail in France that wasn't a tacky summer-tourist thing, and I finally found one at the silver owl. The ambience was nice, areas are sectioned and divided by different furniture, providing different moods.The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, but allowed us to practice our French.

We arrived in Perigueux on a Sunday evening, tired and hungry. Quite a large pub, but split into sections, with a more formal dining area in the middle. Lots of outside space to eat/drink but we chose inside as it was a bit cool.Staff were very friendly and their English was perfect.I had a vegetable burger, which was grilled vegetables in a burger bun and very delicious. DH had a burger and was even asked how he would like it cooked! Both came with fries.Good choice of beers and wines and reasonably priced.Nice for a relaxed informal meal.Thank you very much for sharing your opinion which makes us sincerely happy.See you soon maybe...

Enjoyed what I chose which was salade fraicheur and hubby had Gambas and sister in law chose tartar saumon. Brother in law had magret de canard nature. Service could have been a little faster.

The amount of fun I had at LâAmuse Gueule late at night has been unreal. The atmosphere and the staff is amazing. I speak okay french, but even my friends that spoke none has a blast despite the language barrier. I enjoyed this spot so much that I couldnât even consider checking out some place out. Everything was fairly priced, the music was great. I could go on and on. I highly recommend!!
