In a cozy and quaint town of Hopewell exists a European bistro that quite frankly needs a whole bunch of renovation but still serves up some of the best Schnitzel and Goulash in the area. Susie who doesn't mind coming out from the kitchen and greeting her guests Both dishes were outstanding except for the Spaetzle which lacked character and umpf. the schnitzel was nicely crisp on the outside yet tender on the inside. The goulash was excellent but the portion for me was too smallTristen the bartender was so very accommodating after she warmed up to us.Overall, a great place to have a drink and a great East European dinner Thank you Susie

We were touring the battlefields of New Jersey but stopped for a break at this well-located restaurant on the banks of a canal near the Delaware River. In fact, we'd just literally crossed the Delaware (via a bridge, a considerably easier task than was endured by Washington's men) to get here. We were part of a large group - about ten total - but the staff found us a lovely very long table, outside on the deck. Patriot's Crossing is definitely not a flashy place - in fact, I'd be tempted to confine my order to 'bar food' just to avoid surprises - but I was ready for a salad, and thankfully, so were they. My chicken veggie wrap and side salad were really fresh, and really good. This would be a good place to stop no matter where it was located, but given the picturesque setting, it was GREAT!

Came for lunch on a Friday, ate outside on the patio. They had some nice lunch selections, I had a delicious grilled cheese/short rib/onion/arugula, really good, large portion. Co-workers also enjoyed their lunch options, nobody had a bad meal. Definitely dark inside, typical Irish style. Had a nice beer selection as well. Not sure why there are a bunch of so-so reviews, maybe the entrees don't measure up to the lunch options?

We had a nice lunch here on Saturday on our way back home from OBX. Always reliable. A very interesting, eclectic menu. We enjoyed the Fried Oysters, Persian Cucumber salad, and the Greek Salad with Scallops. Nice wine list, great service.

My husband and I recently returned to this restaurant after about a year or so. We were impressed then but no longer. The menu is less interesting, more pizza than sandwiches. The house salad that came with my waffle grilled cheese sandwich was very wilted and the dressing had been sitting out. The waffle grilled cheese sandwich was very disappointing, fairly tasteless, soggy waffles. No reason to ret,frankly.

The chief and I were at the hospital awaiting the birth of our grand daughter when I got hungry after waiting 14 hours with no baby. So we went on yelp and found that this place was open and had a bar so we went for a late dinner. Surprisingly it was the old Diamonds where we have been many times. It was like homecoming. I had a couple of martinis, arugula salad and the roasted chicken, while the chief has her Prosecco, Cesar salad and the mussels. We both loved our meals and the bar tender Rich couldnât have been nicer.Still no baby.....

We stopped in for dinner and had the best pizza and salads ever! I had a Ryan's salad and it was amazing. Daily soup was great also and then there was the pizza! Great doesn't even begin to describe it.
