Took a Chance and were pleased with the results. My wife ordered the Bangers and Mash and it was excellent as was the sausage and very flavorful brown gravy. I had the Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was good The carrots, cabbage, and potatoes were very fresh and the corned beef was good. I would have preferred to have had the vegetables cooked longer as perhaps this would have added more flavor to the dish, which was missing.

We had dinner at Past Times twice in the past couple weeks during events. A friend was performing on a Saturday night, and we decided to check out karaoke on Tuesday night.Forget karaoke here unless you enjoy falling asleep to 1940s crooning. Karaoke patrons are of that era. Saturday night's entertainment was fun because the performer did newer music with some life in it (1950s through 1970s) and Past Times has a nice size wooden dance floor.The horseshoe bar is large, but we weren't able to find seating there during either visit because the place is packed early evenings. People start clearing out by 8:00. The restaurant area is spacious and can accommodate larger groups. Unfortunately the food is mediocre.We ordered fish and chips, which was unremarkable. No flavor to the breading, and it didn't stay attached to the fish. The cole slaw recipe is bland. The side salad had a slew of hidden onions in it, which ruined it. The fries were good. Pumpkin cheesecake was the best part of dinner. Food and drink prices are reasonable enough - a glass of decent wine is $4.25 and a shot of Jose Cuervo is $5. The highlight of our visit both times was a server named Rob. He is simply fantastic. Great personality, and he checked in on us several times every hour to ensure we lacked nothing.Bottom line - I'd go again for drinks and desert, but never on a karaoke night.

We were looking forward to good beer and gourmet pizza for dinner. Review of website menu had some intriguing items with goat cheese....and I love goat cheese. We got less than we wanted. They had only one ipa that they called a âwhite ipaâ finished with grapefruit. The beer was good but, not outstanding and was about the only choice for us. We got their goat cheese pizza with spinach and their ipa sauce, on their beer batter crust. Pizza was good but, we felt it needed an additional taste. Goat cheese was good but a really thin layer of sauce and spinach made for a very thin, light pizza. Maybe a little additional spicy protein would work? Service from the bartender was fine and we were about the only customers from 5:30 to 7.

Just moved to Ormond and have been struggling to find good places to eat out. Donât let the outside sports bar appearance fool you. They have awesome juicy burgers. I had a meatball sub which was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Homemade mozzarella sticks were recommended and great too. We definitely will be back.

Have watched since before doors opened. Nice alternative to OBS pubs. Happy for the success and family atmosphere however do not care for children in the main bar. Understanding for kids in open surf shop side but do not care for kids screaming while relaxing at the pub. Nice to have food trucks and brews are good

Went here during bike week 2019. Brother-in-law lives in Ormond, so is hip on all the local places. This one is a canât Miss. Eclectic clientele, loud rock n roll, tons of beautiful bikes. Heard a great band âThrowdown Jonesâ. Lead singer had a great set of pipes. Great drinks, crazy crowd - even Midget Wrestling! OK, OK - not for everybody - but if you like the wild and ridiculous, then this is definitely your bar. Sit outside, settle in and enjoy the show!

We sat in the bar on a Friday early evening. Bar was hopping and they had only the bartender making drinks and serving the tables. Service was slow and food was pretty basic.

Houligan's has decent food for a Sports related bar. The wings & cheese steaks are awesome most of the time. During football season the restaurant can be a bit on the loud side. Service is generally fast but the food quality is inconsistent. Restaurant is generally clean rest rooms need a bit more care. On nights when sports are not prevalent the Fox News station is on many of the overhead TV's which is pretty un-appetizing to some of us.

On vacation, we wanted something different. Unique menu, but we settled on boring pizza...it was great. Small, plentiful pieces of veggies on a thin crust with great sauce. A superbly pleasant surprise. We are on the older side for the typical clientele of this establishment, but the music was lively and not overpowering (inside) and the server was patient and helpful, best Irish Cider I ever had...
