Even though it's aproximately a 40 minute drive for us, always worth the ride.Celebrated my wife's birthday and got our favorite dish the Polynesian Ribeye. Service from Jarrod was terrific and we had a great dining experience.

Dine in casual elegance (indoors or out) all day long at Amatista Cookhouse, where a seasonal menu keeps things deliciously fresh. The breezy coastal atmosphere invites you to feast on breakfast with the family before a day at the pool, pop in for lunch a
One of the best moderately priced restaurant options at Universal Orlando, this restaurant has great tasting food, good service and amazing views if you sit outside. Located on the bottom floor of the Sapphire Falls Resort, Amatista Cookhouse has modern takes on Caribbean cuisine along with American favorites. We did both dinner and breakfast with an amazing burger and rotisserie chicken for dinner and the breakfast buffet and fritters and breakfast time. You can expect a more relaxed pace of service so if you were rushing to get to the parks, you might want to let your server know. I know we will be back for the great food and views!

Went to Teaks for the first time with a couple of friends and did not have the best experience. We sat at the bar and was pretty much ignored by our bartender. She seemed more concerned with leaving and flirting with some of the other staff , than serving us. I asked about a few options on the menu due to my vegan dietary restriction, and she only recommended the asparagus and sweet potato tots. After a good while, our food came out . There were 4 simple asparagus that were hardly cooked and not seasoned at all, on the plate . Very disappointing ,bland , and almost offensive. The service was terrible, drinks were thrown together (cups smelled due to not be washed or polished properly), & the food was horrible.Iâm a food& beverage manager so this definitely hit home for me.Hopefully they work on the things that need to have more attention paid towards. Will not be coming back.

First visit. Had an incredibly relaxed and excellent dinner. We sat and had a couple beers, cruised our way through the great menu. The general manager cruised by with a first time visit complementary dish and later with a tuna poke bowl. Great wings,.. salad,.. humus,.. creme brûlée. Service was great.

So the bar in our hotel has the most amazing entertainer I have ever seen in a smaller sized resort bar like this or anywhere else for that matter. But it is SRO and if you go see him you will immediately know why. Yee Haw Bob Jackson is a must see Disney experience. Even if you are staying somewhere else come in and enjoy Fish and Chips which my husband and daughter both got or an awesome Wing plate with Fried Pickles and spicy Cajun fries which I had. The food is typical grill fare but really good quality. Our server, John, has been with the resort for twenty years and seems to really love his job. The show is very high energy and John keeps his energy and cheerful attitude up there with Bob and the music. The place is packed to the rafters so the two cocktailers are kept hopping through both shows. We watched the 8:30 show and the 10:30 and the crowds were huge for both. The first show had several locals that came in just to see Bob. The fact that he has a huge following is not a surprise. The show is fun, humorous and interactive. But on top of the shenanigans and hilarity, Bob is a genuinely talented musician. We saw him when we were here two years ago and so we made sure we were able to see him this time too. I would mention for people on the Disney Dining Plan, the River Roost Lounge is not part of the Dining Plan but the prices are very reasonable and all three of us got plenty to eat from our choices. So next time you are in Disney go in and see Bob and let John take good care of your dinner and drink needs.

I found out this Strong Water since I was too tired to get out for dinner and to search for another restaurant further away, so decided to try out this place, which was reachable on foot from my hotel Aventura. The Strong Water is the tavern of the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in Orlando. The restaurant is nice, the furnishings and people are welcoming, but when I ordered a dish of camarones and a Marathoner drink I was really disappointed: the camarones were in very little portion and with a bitter taste, the drink was full of ice and water. The draft beer was the only thing actually drinkable. The staff was overall warm and there were the unfailing monitors for watching tv sport programs.Unfortunately, food and beverages are not good. Furthermore, tha bill was very expensive, 50,28 dollars for two drinks and a bad little dish of camarones. Unacceptable. Frankly, there are many better reastaurants in Orlando. The marks ? Food 4 - service 7,5 - place 7.

We visited for lunch one day. The choice was great and it was hard to choose what to order. My husband and I both ordered sandwiches and they were so tasty! My husband tried a lager that was recommend and really enjoyed drinking something new. The staff were great and the service was efficient. The quality of the sandwiches for the price was great. The only downside was the inside area is quite small so we sat outside on a very hot day, but the food made up for being hot and sweaty - we would definitely visit again!
