We spent two evenings at this establishment talking , laughing, crying and cherishing each otherâs company. They have plenty of room for a table of two to a table of twenty . The service is impeccable and each of our waitresses was so kind and attentive.... nothing a miss . The food was good and hot when served. I would recommend the Swiss burger ( super delish ) There is parking in the front (if ya get there early enough ) but plenty in the back . This is a must go to !!!

This is primarily a bar, which is fine if you need a beer or something stronger. They advertise "home cooking" but their cook at home isn't up to MY standards. I've had the hamburger (overcooked and dry) and their pretzel with dip appetizer (not bad). But the steamed mussels were not unsafe to eat -- just slightly elderly and not tasty, despite their description that they are steamed in garlic butter and wine. Hardly any flavor at all.
Things to love about the Shamrock: the bartenders are consistently good, efficient and friendly; the prices are amazing, especially for big-city out-of-towners; the patrons generally like to interact with you; excellent craft beer choices. Things that aren't so good: cigarette smoke and smell; the bathroom. This place hasn't changed all that much in the more than 40 years I've been popping in. That can be good or bad. Depends on the day.
