Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Ogden. The city was named after fearless fur-trader and adventurer, Peter Skene Ogden, who explored the untamed area in the 1820s. Since then, Ogden has seen poverty and prosperity, conflict and celebration. Today, although a more subdued and modern place, the city is still big on action and adventure the whole family can enjoy. Take the kids to ogle the more than 100 life-size replicas of pre-historic creatures at the Ogden Dinosaur Park and Museum. Or head to the Tree House Museum, one of the best of its kind in the U.S. Adults will find plenty to enjoy on local golf courses or hiking trails in the summer, and everyone will love the local winter ski resorts. A grand old depot, Union Station is a must see for history buffs and anyone interested in trains and railroads. Be sure to stroll along 25th Street downtown. This historic block was the center of activity in the early 20th-century and is home to many restored buildings from the railroad era. The street also boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants, one-of-a kind shops, antique stores and art galleries.

The Movie Grille is a great way to give yourself a break for a couple of hours. The chairs, especially the reclining ones, are so comfortable and you need not leave your seat to get dinner. The food is yummy and comes in generous portions. The theater offers discount tickets on Groupon and runs promotions often. I love how they will sometimes who throw back movies for free.

I wanted this to be a great experience. It was just OK. I tried 4 different beers. All were decent. No stand outs. The food was about the same. Nothing bad, but nothing great.Friendliness seems to be something left off the menu. We didnât really feel welcome. Would I give it another chance? Yes.The decor is nice. With some smiles to match, a fourth star would be in reach.

Cool Beatles bar! All the drinks are named after Beatles songs. Drinks are reasonable but very weak. Didnât try the food but what we saw at nearby tables looked awesome! Music was too quiet...rarely a complaint of mine...but hearing some Beatles music in the Beatles bar was kind of expected!! Iâd go back!

At Harley & Buck's, we offer incredible food and great service since 2006! We serve steaks, seafood, pasta, and an excellent selection of appetizers, salads, desserts, and a full bar. Our restaurant is located just across the street from the Famous Peery'
One of the better-kept secrets in Ogden. Great ambiance, attentive staff, and Ribs Special every Wednesday. They offer an extensive beer and wine list plus live music on weekends. Many menu items aren't generally available elsewhere in town, oysters being just one example. Prices are a dollar or two above "cheap eats" but are reasonable for the quality of the food.

I tried out this place for the first time during Ogden Restaurant week on Sunday April 7th. The food was great and the $3 mimosas and Bloody Mary's during Sunday brunch. Considering how busy it was the wait was not long at all.I will be back again. A cool place to go with friends or family. Ogden has so many great places.

The Pie Pizzeria, a valley landmark since 1980, continues to reign atop the "Best Pizza" lists because of the business philosophy that consistency, quality, equitable pricing and great service are the keys to success. The Pie takes no short cuts! We belie
We've eaten at The Pie in Salt Lake and enjoyed it, so decided to visit this one while visiting family in Roy. Their pizzas are just a little unique, are generous with toppings and are well prepared. Reasonably priced and very tasty. We really like the BBQ chicken and the veggie pizzas. A great place.

My wife and I (and now our 1 year old son) have been coming to Slackwater for years. I don't want to feel like I'm writing reviews when I only have bad things to say, so they definitely deserve praise for always having an excellent product (this from a northeast pizza snob) and having a great vibe and ambiance - even if a bit noisy during busy times/live music - especially with the patio overlooking the river. But I've found the service to be spotty at times, with the most recent visit being so egregious that I had to write something. We stopped in mid afternoon, at which time the place was mostly empty. We were promptly seated, but then waited for 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the server. This would be bothersome on a busy night and completely unacceptable when things are quiet. This was essentially the tone for the entire visit, with everything taking forever, which unfortunately seemed unique to us. The party sitting nearby that ordered after we did was halfway through their meal before my wife even got her salad and was paying their bill by the time our food came. No explanation or apology for the long wait was ever given. Fortunately we were given drink refills before our food came, but the server once again disappeared after the food was brought out (by someone else) and didn't stop by to see if we needed anything until well after we were done eating. As anticipated, it then took another eternity to get the check, by which point our 1 year old was totally done and had been taken outside by my wife. It should be noted that the same server had another party near us which she visited at least 3 times before coming back to us. Only at this point did i get a half-hearted apology for the wait for the check because she 'had a lot of tables on the patio'. I glanced out before leaving and yeah, there were 2 parties tops out there. If 2 is considered 'a lot', I'd hate to see the dinner rush. All told, we were there for approximately 90 minutes. For a salad, stuffed sticks and one pizza. About double the length of time it usually takes us when dining out. I understand that families with children may not necessarily be Slackwater's target crowd, but if the party with the 1 year old is the one you choose to keep waiting, I think you'll find that that doesn't work out super well for anybody. I can understand longer waits when things are busy, but once again, there's no excuse when the place is dead. Granted it was a bit busier by the time we left, but it was still less than half full and that doesn't explain taking forever to be acknowledged or to get our food. Between that and feeling like we're being singled out is where the frustration comes in. I imagine it'll be awhile before we're back. We don't get the chance to come during off-peak times very much and I wouldn't even want to think about braving the dinner crowd after this experience.I am very sorry for your experience with us. We strive to give 5 star food and service. Obviously this was not the case for you. If you can email back at [email protected] I would love to hopefully make it up to you some how and I would like to know the server that was taking care of you. Again thank you for reaching out. This only makes us better. Thank you.
