We started with the mushroom appetizer as well as the mussels followed by Reuben sandwiches and fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Our server Andrew was courteous and attentive, bringing our food quickly, but not rushing us so we could enjoy our company. Definitely will stop in again.

Welcome to Kroghâs Restaurant & Brew Pub. We are located in beautiful northern New Jersey â Sussex County to be exact. We are directly across the street from Lake Mohawk in Spartaâs White Deer Plaza. Our historic building dates back to 1927 and there is n
My friend and I meet every few months for lunch and this time we chose Krogh's in Sparta New Jersey. Krogh's is a cozy pub style restaurant with a full bar in the Lake Mohawk section of Sparta. In addition to cocktails, wine and beer, Krogh's brews their own beer with many varieties on tap. We both ordered Krogh's brewed beer. She ordered the Mounds Stout and I the Grunney's Belgian Dubbel. Both were refreshing and delicious. For lunch we ordered a blackened catfish over rice and the Welsh Rarebit chicken sandwich. The catfish came with a side salad. It was moist and cooked perfectly. I have not seen a Welsh Rarebit on a menu in years. You could order it with chicken, as I did, or with a burger. The sauce was rich and delicious. We shared a decadent coffee royale mud pie for dessert. For a good meal in a warm cozy pub with great beers on tap, give Krogh's a try.Hello,Thank you very much for the review of Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub. My name is Jason Fuchs. Open for dinner Tues - Sun. Closed Mondays. In house catering available as well as food delivery for larger groups. Call the restaurant for information.
Luzziâs has been a staple in the area for the last 37 years. Both an Italian restaurant and a Seafood restaurant it excels in both.Start with a huge house salad served on chilled plates, try to pace yourself with the addictive bread & then enjoy fine steaks, lamb & veal chops, super shrimp & scallop dishes and perfect pastas. Full bar & large parking lot. Thanks so much for the nice words! One correction however, it will be 41 years this year! Hard to believe!

The Vreeland Store once served as a Post Office and General Store to Upper Macopin; Its has been restored and now serves as a Cafe, Bar and Inn. Come By Tuesday through Sunday, we offer breakfast and lunch all day, fresh baked pastries and pies, full bar
My husband & I were so looking forward to experiencing the Vreeland Store after reading a very complimentary article about it in The Record recently! So, we ventured out on Friday morning to have a much anticipated brunch! We were totally disappointed & will not be returning! 2 young women waitressing! Slow, not very friendly, did not ask how we were doing. We had to ask for a refill on our coffees & we had to ask for check! My grilled cheese was so-so. Nothing to talk about. My soup- cream of turkey was terrible! More like a corn chowder, not creamy. Just did not like! My husband ordered the cranberry French toast. He was given 1 itty bitty butter. Asked for 2 more! 1 small container of maple syrup, when usually there is a pourer on the table! Again , nothing to write home about! We were extremely unimpressed! We eat out often, but this was terrible. There were no special little touches to add to the enjoyment of our meal. To make matters worse, our check was over $25. UGH!! We thought we were going to find a new place to frequent! We left $30. on the table! Bye bye!

We targeted the Gazebo, which is an especially nice and open part of the restaurant. In the winter, we have targeted the area in the lounge near the fireplace during Fall and Winter. Chefs were recently changed, and we have not eaten there since the new chef took over. Regardless, the atmosphere and service here are really lovely, and will greatly overcome any complaints about the food, which has been very good.

We recently visited with two other couples during Oktoberfest. The food was very good and the beer selection was excellent. We have been here for dinner and/ or drinks with friends several times. Usually the food is good, but nothing special. However during Oktoberfest, the food is very good and well spent night out.

We had an OK dinner here. Had to wait a good while for our food...which is understandable since they had a full house. Don't know why the place was packed.Very noisy and loud bar scene...I know it's billed as an Irish pub. We had to get in each others face to hear conversations or to place our order, Drink Specials were kind of pricey for what we got.Think we'll pass here for family Sat night dinner here in the future.Hi rwllc - We're sorry you didn't have a great experience but appreciate you taking time to leave us a review. We'd like a chance to make things right!
Saw the sign and stopped in for lunch. Dawn the bartender was very friendly and attentive. Nice, clean atmosphere - like being inside a log cabin â with some great 80's rock music playing in the background. I had the French Onion Soup and a cheesesteak with fries ... both delicious. I will definitely be back! Prices were very reasonable.

I used to like going here but now they put in these new bar stools that are horrible. So uncomfortable and small. Heard a lot of people are saying the same and have stopped going. Noticed more of the regulars are at The Grasshopper down the road.
