This place is very cliquey. It looks like a bunch of elderly locals have basically taken this place over and turned it into a semi private bar for themselves. It is so cliquey it's like being back in seventh grade.

I called ahead at 8:40pm to see how late the restaurant was open and was told until 10pm. I'm staying at the hotel and went down 15 minutes later to find it closed. I talked to the front desk and they called down to discover they closed early because service was slow. When I was a server, instead of being lazy and closing early we stayed open and spent the time deep cleaning. It's just a lazy excuse, especially since I called ahead. Really not impressed with this best western, small things keep adding up and we won't be returning. If we hadn't purchased through Expedia, I would have left already after the first night.

This is a throwback pub, which only serves beer and does have hamburgers and breakfast food. You can play pool, pinball and listen to jukebox music. Go to the bay, walk around and come in to enjoy a beer, some food and play some music on the jukebox, while playing pinball. Enjoy

My husband and I love going to Bier One. The atmosphere is chill and laid back, just what you want after a long day at work. All the bartenders are super friendly and the crowd is great. They gave a variety of games including pool, fusbal, shuffleboard, darts, and a ton of card/board games under the table in the corner. Great place to hang out for really inexpensive!

This restaurant was down on the bayfront and is much larger than outward appearances would suggest. The food was delicious and there were hearty portions. Lots of fun selections for breakfast. A good bloody Mary, too. They were shorthanded the day we were there, so it took a while to get the food, but the waitress was kind and attentive and she let us know right away they were short handed. I would definitely eat breakfast here again.

Had a great steak in an upper floor dining room with a window view. Reasonably priced and well cooked meal with fair service. View would have been better if the windows had been washed. Not much atmosphere to start with but that could be improved by removing the TV that was blaring some inane game show.

Our two-story brewpub inside Rogue World Headquarters looks out over Yaquina Bay and the Marina in Newport, Ore. as well as the brewery where Brewmaster John Maier crafts Rogue ales & lagers, the same ones poured from 40 taps, including pub-only limited b
Stumbled upon the place when visiting the aquarium across the street. You walk through the brewery to get to the pub. The beer flight was very good. Good came out very quickly. The poutine was delicious. My wife enjoyed her veggie sandwich and my lover patty melt was very good. Kids have their food served in on a frisbee that they take with them. Overall great experience.

Nye Beach area is crowed, and Tap House isn't exempt from the finding a parking space. Even with a parking lot across the street, if you are not early, then you have to find somewhere to park. Once you have accomplished parking, then you suffer from sticker shock when scanning the menu. Food is adequate, but not worth the prices they charge. I'm a resident of Newport, and there are many other places that have just as good and better food for less cost. I most likely would not return, unless a guest of ours wanted to go.The one positive, was the wait staff (Paul) was great, informative, attentive and pleasant.

Szabo's used to be a favorite until today. The French Dip sandwich used to come on a hoagy roll..now a stadium hot dog bun. The Fish Sandwich was a colorless slab of something. We ate there every time we came to the coast but this was the last time. Service was good, but it takes more. Would rather pay a higher price that pay for the food we received

Our group of four enjoyed our visit immensely. We sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed the beautiful day while eating the delicious food. I enjoyed the Taugues Delight, Irish style sausages smothered in seasoned apples and onions sauteed in Strongbow hard cider, served with mashed potatoes, peas, and a side of our house mushroom gravy. It was delicious, and far too large a portion for me to finish. Others in the party enjoyed the Veggie Sandwich, the Dublin Burger and the Vegetarian Celtic Curry Pie. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Service was good, but not exceptionally fast or attentive. If I lived in the area, I would return.
