Late lunch with friends after a great afternoon at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Lots of great food options...even for vegans and vegetarians. My veggie burger was nicely grilled, with tomato, onions, and cheese on a bakery roll. Very good flavor. Good service and friendly, fun atmosphere in a unique Cincinnati neighborhood.

Authentic German food at its best. We came here to celebrate my son's graduation for his Master's Degree (we also came here for his undergrad). The service, the food, and the beer are all outstanding. Live German music adds to the ambiance. I wasn't aware but they have $3 half liters of beer until 6pm - this is home brewed on the premises. I had the chicken and it was delicious. Others had sausages and pork and all kinds of German food and everyone loved their meal. This is our standard go-to when it's time to celebrate.

If you want a place to eat where you can have a conversation across the table, donât go to Brothers. If you have the attitude that âCleanliness is next to Godlinessâ, donât go to Brothers. If you hate swatting gnats and flies before they get into your food, donât go to Brothers. Despite all of these short comings, the food is really good. We recommend the fish sandwich and the apple pecan salad.

We stopped here for lunch on our trip and were glad we did. We sat on the deck which was very nice and with the fans nice in a hot day. The food was fantastic and our waitress Gail was awesome. Attentive and friendly. Lots of options in that area but would recommend this.

Located in downtown Cincinnati across from the Aronoff Center, Nicholsonâs is a restaurant and bar serving fine food and drink in a genuine Scottish tavern setting. Taking inspiration from the public houses found throughout Great Britain, our goal is to p

Visited the Over the Rhine area today and stopped in for lunch at Kruegerâs. With so many choices in OTR, I was expecting a good meal and we were not disappointed. They are known for their homemade burgers and sausage, so I decided to skip my ânormalâ order of a salad for lunch. Instead, I ordered their spicy burger. The waiter said it was an 8 out of 10 on the hotness scale, so he suggested that I ask for the spicy slaw on the side. The burger was delicious. Two thin patties with pepper jack cheese and spicy pickles â very juicy! I thought it was going to be too hot after the first bite, but that was not the case â I just had to get my mouth âwarmed upâ. I also had an order of French fries on the side to share â they were very good, just the right crispness and seasoning. The rest of the group also enjoyed their food, which included the Lincolnshire sausage, a veggie burger, a strawberry salad with chicken, and a small kale salad. All the food was excellent. Service was also very good and efficient. My only disappointment was the draft beer list â no darker beers (stouts, porters or malts). Though they had a large selection of bottles and cans, mainly craft beers. Try it, you will like it.

Stopped for a quick beer and tour of the facility with a promise to ourselves to come back. Beer was outstanding especially (in my opinion) the porters. A huge walking tour group came in while we were there and that enlivened things considerably. The bar tenders were unflappable and everyone was served quickly and efficiently and settled in the enjoy the wide selection of delicious fresh brews. Next trip we will stay for food but we had too little time this trip! If you love history this is the place for you!

Once I saw that this was a "chain" restaurant, I should have known it wasn't going to be top of the line German fare. My first surprise was to find out they no longer serve red cabbage, which is a german staple and especially with schnitzel. My schnitzel was a tale of two cities, half of it was so thin it was like cardboard and the other half was too thick. The sides of potato salad and sauerkraut were just so-so.
