We were a group of 8 guys on way to our Guys weekend. This is an annual event and every time we start off with the lunch at the Leaf Cigar Bar and Restaurant. The ambiance of the place is amazing - very relaxed. The food is amazing as well. A large part of the group was vegetarian and they were very accommodating of their needs. The only issue was that they put a slice of bacon in the Bloody Mary of one of the guys and then had to replace it.But be aware that this is a place that expects you to come relax, enjoy your food and drinks, have a cigar or two and chill. Not the place if you are on the clock - otherwise an awesome place.

The Porter brothers purchased a dilapidated building on the corner of 7th and Northampton in 1988. There wasn't much going on in Easton back then and most people said we were crazy (to invest in Easton). The "Central Bar" was closed when we purchased it b
My husband called in advance and made reservations for four on March 9th. I heard him make the call and know he gave accurate information My husband had a missed Call the week before the reservation and when he returned the call the girl informed him they had the wrong day written down but were werenât taking calls for the following weekend because of St Pattys day. He explained he had called earlier in the week and this was not his fault. She offered nothing other than saying they were not taking because of St Pattyâs day which is not for two weeks and has nothing to do for the week we wanted reservations. TERRIBLE. We will not patronize this place ever again!!!!

After living 10 minutes away from this place for 16+ years, we finally decided to try it out. When we first walked into 1818 tavern, the atmosphere was great- it wasn't a mesmerizing experience but it was a cozy place. Food was very disappointing. It felt like I just got my appendix removed and now they were giving me a hospital dinner. I thought it was especially strange they had the 2 martini rule (they said only 2 martinis for us but some people are saying 3). Although I couldn't handle more than one martini it was a strange rule. I could probably get a better meal from a local pizza place. The martini was fine- it wasn't something to be hyped up for but it wasn't bad. Probably wont come back- service was also strange so there's that. Sure you can try it out, but I can assure you it's not as great as it looks.

Was in the mood for shrimp and grits and wife was in the mood for beer. Where to go as we wracked our brains for a place to go. This is the place for REALLY inventive beers and good food. Try a flight of beer and donât be scared of the unique ones. We tried the blueberry beer. I liked it, wife did not. There was a beer called smoothie with lactic and hops and I did not like but wife loved. You can get a growler to take home or even better a 32 oz can that we opted for. Menu of beers are online so you can take a peak and read the descriptions before you go. Now as far as the food it was very good. We started with the pickle plate as well, with a dish called pickle plate you kind of have to. Came out with pickles, duh. But pickled veggies, peperocini, mustard, and two thick slices of crusty bread. The surprise was pickled pineapple. You have to try it. Was very good and pairs well with beer. We tried the pot sticker dumpling and some of the best I have had over cabbage and pickled. I wish it had come with a dipping sauce to compliment. I think they must be deep fried as nice and solid. Main course was shrimp and grits and while I got complaints from friends that Yankees canât make it well this was as good as what I had in Atlanta. The only distraction was the pickled pineapple on top. While I liked the pickled pineapple I moved it to the side. Nice amount of true andouille sausage and not over cooked shrimp. The grits were true grits and slightly gritty from the coarse cornmeal. Wife had a salad with chicken. Simple but very good. Getting to the building is a series of looking for the door. From the corner door there is a sign to go around to side. Walk past two doors and take the third. You are greeted and pointed to the hostess. We made reservations on open table but on a Friday night at 7 it was not needed. There is the bottom floor, outside seating (by the street), upstairs, and upstairs balcony which is limited. The wait staff could not be better. Our waitress was helpful and pleasant and fun. The bus boys were so efficient that an empty plate or glass never sat for more than a minute. We joked that they must be low on tableware. Downstairs they have t-shirts if you want to display where you have been. My wife canât pass that up. Parking, we were surprised to find a spot on the street close by. It is metered parking which is not bad as they take credit cards. I put in three hours as we did not know how long we would sit and drink. We were not rushed so was glad we did. If no parking the pine street? Garage is close enough to walk from. About a 6 minute walk, but!!!!!!! Itâs uphill. So be forewarned. The only downside and this is personal preference only is very loud. Granted I am sensitive to noise to a small degree, but had to ask waitress to repeat things.

Looking for a place for lunch and put it into the GPS. Oh, Wait...now this sounds interesting..Pennsylvania Roadhouse. Now my husband is not into Bars...me either..but let's try it . Walked in and looked around in total amazement...what a Cool , Wild place this is. The ceiling became a chalkboard along with the beams. Above the bar on the ceiling is a Car Hood, with a Alcoholic Drink Logo. Fancy Bar light at one end of the Bar and two Stain glass windows on the wall behind the Bar. Over the door to the kitchen is a Pig Lying down guzzling a Booze Bottle. Rustic Tables and Beer Decor everywhere. Pool Table, Nook with Comfy Chairs and Couch and an old Piano with a Skeleton dressed in Redneck Duds on top of the Piano. A Biker Bar!! Crazy Wild Menu . Food was Awesome and done just right. Gave it a Big Thumbs up. A Local Dive....Loved it!

Decided to try this restaurant as we live close by and have never eaten here. Friends told us they liked it.Not much good to report from our visit. Overpriced and over-sauced brisket sandwich, shoe leather roast beef, and tasteless burnt broccoli. All four of us left, wondering how they got the good reviews we had seen. Wonât be going back.

Four of us stopped in around lunchtime on a cold November Saturday. I had a flight of beers, and the two IPAs were excellent, especially Early Dismissal. The housemade pretzel braid and pizzas were very good, but the "Mac Attack" mac & cheese was absolutely delicious. The bacon flavor was infused throughout the dish and the cheese sauce was incredibly creamy. It may well be the best mac & cheese I've ever had! Our server was attentive, friendly and informative about the beers.
