Reviews on Pub food in Nairobi, Kenya. Known as the safari capital of Africa, Nairobi is an energetic, modern city that serves as a fascinating introduction to both wildlife and nightlife. Music clubs pulse with life, shops and markets bustle, and a mélange of restaurants will tempt your palate in this former Maasai watering hole. Top sights include the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and the black rhinos of Nairobi National Park. The compact city center is safe to walk in and taxis make other areas accessible.

Located at the rooftop of ibis Styles Hotel- Rahpta Road Westlands, Kilele Nyama is a roast house with a modern twist. This is definitely Nairobiâs most stylish rooftop restaurant offering a variety of char-grilled cuts, the perfect home feeling and our a
What I loved- The service was great and the prices were reasonable. The decor was very tasteful and the views were incredible. The honey mustard chicken wings were delicious as starter. The shared platter number one was delicious. And the the food came out fast. The waiter Allan was very great. Areas of Improvement- The music playing was more appropriate for a club scene than a restaurant. Dear Evans we are very grateful to have received your great review. I am very pleased you found the Nyama to your tastes. We appreciate you sharing your constructive thoughts in how we can further grow, I am pleased to inform you that our rockstar team are currently working to implement these changes. Our talent and culture team will be sure to recognise the efforts of Allen who hopes to make you feel welcome at ibis Styles Westlands meat house for another meal in the future.

We had dinner the first night we arrived at the Bidwood and it exceeded our expectations. The curry was on point and delicious and our server Simon was absolutely delightful and set the bar quite high. Extremely sweet and attentive making sure we were well taken cared of. Breakfast the next day was quite delicious with a made to order omelette station and the staff were very friendly as well!

This is what we are all about! The Grilll Shack is homegrown in Dubai, offering a predominantly meaty menu of steaks, ribs and burgers in a casual yet industrial style setting in The Westgate Shopping Mall. American at the core, with influences of food fr
We went there because we heard that the burgers and ribs were top notch! Well below is a summary of events:Quality of Chefs suggestion for burger: top notch! The difference from other burgers was that it was not composed of mince meat but of bona fide tender meat...Service: lower than poor! We ordered two identical burgers. One came but the other did not come, it appears that either the waitress took the wrong order or the kitchen made an error. I complained to the manager, because there we not a lot of customers, and these kind of errors should not have occurred. I got a very poor excuse, but most importantly, the manager just went and sat on a table at the end of the diner with some of his friends and did not move since then - is this a professional attitude? Not even to come and ask us if we wanted anything else, no other managerial gesture? The food itself was too blunt, just take a good look at the picture attached and you will understand... Other diners offer something in addition to just chips and burger, what a shame that there was a lack of sides... In addition, the top and bottom buns were a bit too much for the quantity of meat inside them. The atmosphere was took stiff, with plenty of wood inside the dinner (sorry for not taking pictures), but that was about it...Conclusion: If you want a good burger, order the specialty by the chef. If you want ambiance just forget it. If you want good manners, savoir-vivre, then there are other dinners nearby to visit! By the way, I have deliberately answered 'not sure' on all below because it gives out mixed signals, the identity of the establishment needs uplifting!!!Dear Stavros.Thank you so much for dining with us and for your feedback. We regret and are truly sorry about your experience. The Grilll Shack Team believes and strives for service excellence and thus appreciate your feedback since it helps us improve and better our service. It was a mistake which shall not happen again. We look forward to hosting you again and to make up for the disappointment. Regards. The Grilll Shack Team.

Casual Bar & Restaurant in the heart of the Westlands district. Innovative menu with healthy options. Great dining choice, kitchen open until late.
I went here on a Friday night after a long week in Nairobi. It looks really dodgy when you look in from the street, but inside it is warm and friendly. The restaurant part is very retro cool with interesting paintings on the wall. I had grilled tilapia with a coconut chili sauce which was very nice. My dining partners enjoyed their meals. Service is a little on the slow side, but if you want a nice, chilled place to relax and have a quiet conversation this is a good option.

The Aero Club of East Africa was founded in 1927 by the aviation pioneers who opened up the frontiers of Africa. It still retains that 1930s romantic charm and historical ambience. The club is the only restaurant at Wilson Airport, four km from Nairobiâs
Having regularly used the Aero Club and this restaurant when travelling through Nairobi, this last visit was a little less impressive than last time. Service was less professional and the food, while of good quality, was not well presented [or as ordered]. Maybe an inevitable occasional blip and we shall certainly try it again.

Sitting outside by the Fountain on a perfect Saturday afternoon, was a phenomenal way to experience Hemingways for the first time. The quaint tables, fringed by a lavender fence was the perfect setting for a crisp sauvignon blanc. While we had just come from lunch elsewhere, the menu did look interesting, especially the Josper fired grills.

What was once an excellent establishment, has completely become jeopardised,Brew bistro Westlands, (A corrupt free zone sign needs to be placed)It starts with security,It is a good thing for security to know one,But it comes with the unexpected,The second time you run into them,By this time one becomes a money token,Not only do they put force on it,Insist on it,But even while inside, one of them even came to me for his tip,The harassment didn't stop there, what I offered, which to be honest if I was completely sober I wouldn't have given into,This particular bouncer expected more,It didn't stop there,I went downstairs to pick up my friends,On my way up,I was once again targeted by a different security personnelWithin one night,I had at this time tipped two security personnelsThe dilemma didn't stop there,The brew staff as I now understand,Have their own way of marking someone,From a polite asking or rather referring to a different server when it's very busy,All boundaries are broken,It seems "you become friends"And so all together, I ended up tipping five staff members within a one night,Our specific, server, this one he wasn't even content in his tip,Not only did he get argumentative but demanded more and made sure he got more,Something is so terribly wrong somewhere,Words cannot even articulate the events of the corruption scenes, harassment of staff over tips, greed,The fact that one has to deal with broken staff boundaries,It really is so unfortunate given that there drinks and food are exceptional and the atmosphere according to me is accommodating,One thing for sure though,It is time to move on from Brew bistro
