Our first time here we tried several different items. We were told all the sides were hand made except fries. The potato salad very bland, Cole slaw not bad but nothing special. Mac and cheese like it came out of a box.Ribs, pulled pork and brisket was good the burnt ends good taste but dry. Waiting was very nice and attentive.

I have been here several times over the years. This is going to sound strange but I had the best chicken soup I ever had here. Prices are reasonable , friendly wait staff and good food. My favorite is the lake perch sautéed. Some thing here you don't see every where are potatoes O'Brien.

Super friendly staff and attentive service help make for a good meal experience. Our sausage and mushroom pizza was delicious. We really liked the bulk Italian sausage instead of the usual ground variety. Our only complaint is the seats in our booth were shaky. Every time the people in the booth next to our's moved, we got shaken up. Try the 3 Floyd's beer... very good.
If you like paying full price or more ....this is the place for you and the so called hot bartenders will be glad to over serve you. Do not run a tab here...math ability is not their strong suit. They never run any specials...mix drinks are weak and you'll be constantly asked if you're ready for another...the owner is a goofball...the atmosphere and bar setup are fine and that's about it .....everything else sucks!

I have been going here for 50 years, while it has change names a couple of times. Anyway, always great service from Gale and Suzie who have been serving for many many years. I usually have their outstanding wings and soup. Last nite we had a group of 5 and we could not have separate checks. I find this very irritating. I had a dinner and two people had their cobb salad. No rolls or bread were served. I am giving the establishment a 3 only because their mode of operation is going down the tubes. This is a bar with food service. The food is generally good and resonable. They need to go back to the home town service and stop thinking this is a downtown restaurant.
Went for a team/parent dinner. Thought it was going to be a bunch of greasy appetizers, boy was I wrong. Great pizza (and I don't say that lightly), delicious salads and the staff was so attentive and nice. Remembering that my wife is a vegetarian and letting her know when they were bringing out another veggie pizza. It was a fun place too. TV's all around turned to different sports stations. Local ownership who is very supportive of the community too.

We like Applebee's for a change of pace from places like Ruby Tuesday or TGIF. They have a different menu which is nice and some unique things, as well as unique pricing. Located on Ridge Rd. in Munster, just west of Calumet Ave., there is plenty of parking. We were seated immediately, as we were there just before a dinner rush. We ordered the pick 2 entrees, plus an appetizer for $20, which happened to work for us. We decided on two side salads. The first entree was the whiskey bacon burger and the second was the 3 cheese chicken cavatappi. Everything was tasty and hot. Our server was attentive and friendly. And the prices are reasonable in a nice atmosphere. You can't ask for much more!

We were staying at the nearby Comfort Inn immediately off I-90 for a less expensive Chicago experience (much cheaper hotel, no parking fee, free breakfast). I searched for local nearby dining opportunities and luckily landed on Byway Brewing Company only one interstate exit away. They had a nice array of beers and the usual options of samples, small and pint-sized pours, which were great, but where they really exceeded our expectations was on the food. Don't let them kid you that the portions are individually sized. Only if you're a construction worker who just came off a 12 hour shift! we saw a party of 3 splitting their noodle bowl along with several sides. My husband and I could have easily split either the delicious house burger with bacon-onion "jam" or his braised garlic short ribs with charred tomatoes and seared onions gyro on a pita. Wow! Definitely several notches above the usual pub grub. We split a cup of sweet potato soup embellished with sesame and paprika oils that began divine then turned truly heavenly when we hit the sour cream lurking in the bottom of the cup. My husband's "gyro" came with french fries with garlic, salt and pepper. I opted for their house chips, which were equally good. After sampling several of their beers both of us chose things we don't normally: I went for a Sunny Vale IPA that worked beautifully with the burger while hubby chose an unusual orange wheat beer. They also had a cherry wheat that was tasty, but a little too sweet for me. Reminded me a bit of the classic German beer cocktail "Berliner Weisse." All in all, an unexpectedly lovely evening. Our server Emily was attentive and as it got busier the staff seemed to look out for each other which I always apppreciate. The decor is typical brewing company industrial and the location, right off the freeway (but facing away from it) isn't redolent with ambiance unless you're into gasoline, but absolutely worth the very easy jog off the interstate to find. They have tables for bigger groups and outdoor seating also.

Fun - Loud atmosphere with good music. Exactly what you would expect for a micro brewery. Excellent selection of their own highly rated beers with plenty of guest beers to try as well. Food is delicious. Also have a carry out section where you can go in and purchase to take home. If you are around Munster and like beer this is not to be missed.
