If you ever find yourself in Monticello Iowa on a cold windy night and want someplace to eat and drink - COME HERE! This place feels like Portlandia but in the Midwest. Great wine and beer list and the food was delicious as well.

Had tried to stop in 2 different places Friday night. One was full due to a wedding, another's menu sucked so we walked out. This place was recommended by a patron and I am soooooo glad we went. Not only was the food delicious, and the staff professional, friendly and attentive, but the prices were very reasonable and affordable! I ordered a steak sandwich first night, it was a whole 10" steak, with garlic bread and sides. Delicious!! We all returned next night to eat again. All of us had their awesome tasty pizza. If you read my reviews you know I love pizza, but this place truly impressed me! The cheese is so fresh and tasty. If I lived closer, wife and I would eat there every night. Was going to return Sunday morning for breakfast but we had to be on the road early. Do not miss this place! Locals there know...their little secret delicious place to eat (and it has a bar also!!)

Stopped for burger fry and beer for lunch. Ok. Not the greatest burger in the world. And not the worst. Maybe just a bit pricey for a bar in Monticello Iowa?
