International Tapas Served Daily. Fish and Chip Fridays with Live Music. Traditional Sunday Roasts. Bistro Menu Coming Very Soon!
I canât believe Iâm writing an average review after all the amazing comments listed for the Ginger Pig, however, with high expectations we visited this place. Pleasant seating area outside, great for relaxing and admiring the views. The owner was very welcoming, chatty and friendly. It was a hot day so my group of friends decided to eat in. We were served by a young gentlemen, less than friendly and generally couldnât be bothered. We were told about the meals on the menu that were unavailable that day, and all I can say is, that what was eaten was very mediocre. The mussels was tasty, the three bean hot pot, bland. The side salad was dry, no dressing, mainly chopped lettuce with a few pieces of onion and two small pieces of pepper. Lack of attention in the ladies bathroom, it appeared clean, but no toilet paper in the dispenser, only two empty rolls. I went into the restaurant to see if I could find a napkin, but none in sight. Would I come here again? Maybe for the live music and a drink, but not to eat.

We popped in here after reading reviews and were greeted by a customer who told us we wouldn't be disapointed. He was right. The owner seated us and gave us a great explanation of the smoking process. He was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We ordered some buffalo wings to start and they were amazing. So crispy and tasty. We all ordered the ribs. Wow. Best ribs ever. I was full after half of them and couldn't stop eating. This will be a must any time we are in Marbella. Highly highly recommend coming here.

Was driving around trying to find somewhere to eat away from the town centre and this looked quite attractive.Server was cheery and casual.Fish was awful - huge unappealing portion, greasy and fairly tasteless - peas were good however.I doubt any Spanish locals eat here - this looks like it's ran by, and for British looking for their Sunday Roasts, fish n, chips and no doubt nippy sauceFor authenticity try the Ventas instead. If it's ex pat heaven you're after, this will be for you.

Past this bar lots of times and thought nothing of it as looks out to a busy main road. However don't be fooled we wish we had visited sooner. This bar is massive inside and very homely. Theirs a large garden bit out back with pool table and tv's. The staff are so friendly and the food is not hust amazing but cheap also. Definitely worth a visit. We will definitely visit regularly when the hubbys home from offshore.. the locals are very friendly also. We were made to feel very welcome. Top marks best bar around ..
Where to eat Asian food in Monda: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Visited this bar with my girlfriend, our friend, and his mother during the Christmas parade at the beginning of January. They were busy, given the occasion, but were fine for us just to stand at the edge of the bar and have a few beers whilst waiting for the parade to start. The beers were inexpensive, they served them fast. The tapas options, we were looking on the menu for, were really expensive though - far more than most other bars in the area. That being said, they didn't have any on the bar so I assume they are all made to order, and possibly bigger in portion size because of this. Still, â¬5+ is a lot to pay for tapas portions; especially in Andalusia in a bar. If just visiting for an afternoon beer though, it's a great atmosphere with friendly people and traditional Spanish music.
